I just had to reinstall one of my forums and was having that issue of her responding before my post. When I had it use the % post, then changed it to 100% on the forum she posts in, that seems to have slowed down her response enough to make her response show up "after" my post. Basically added another querie for talkerbot, which gives that additional fraction of a second difference that you need..

I've followed the instructions to the letter for this one, botloader.php worked fine and I can chat to the bot, but if I try to get it to reply to a thread in the forum I get a message saying "I was not able to connect to my database. Please try again later." What's the reason for this and how can I fix it? My forum is installed in the server root, i.e. the forum directory is "/".

Either the alice folder isnt in / or else your server may not allow you to run the current version.

The Alice folder is in "/". Is there a script I can use to test if the server allows me to run it or not?

Does anyone know if this works with 3.6.7? I tried it last night and got a cookie error in line 53 of ewt_talkerbot.php

I just reinstalled again and this time I did not chmod 777 files nor did I run Run http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/ali.../botloader.php
and it works great.

Just wondering if I should delete botloader.php file as suggested previously?

Bot will only learn with some edits to the external.php and then running the botlearner.php to add new tables to the database.
