This looks to be exactly what I need except for the fact that I am on 4.1.7. Anyone have any luck getting this to work on vB4? I received a series of errors in my header after importing the xml.

Why not use the Add Block that is built in to v4.x.x

AdminCP > Forums & Moderators > Forums Blocks Manager > Add Block

To turn on the side bar and position:-
AdminCP > Settings > Options > Forum Sidebar and Block Options

To edit sidebar width:-
AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Style Variable Editor > forum_sidebar_width

How do you get it to work with custom widths it seems to be exempt from any size changes, I have my forum set to 960px but when adding this the forums / content get squashed inwards, while the column is always on the outer right.

Don't have that option, the only way I can change the widths is in the options menu, but that's what I've been doing.

Which option don't you have? I'm confused as to what you're saying here

Looking for an update that will work on 4.2.0, can anyone advise?

Has anyone found the solution for this error?

Fatal error: Cannot use assign-op operators with overloaded objects nor string offsets in /misc.php

?

USC 2.2 causes this error when misc.php?do=bbcode is loaded
