Worked like a charm. Thank you very much.
Also, how much would it cost to remove the the footer advertisement?

Sorry, that option is no longer available.

Hi redtyger,

I'm wondering can this plugin display a pool of ad randomly on the right column as well?

Meaning I got 5 sponsors, and I put it in my right column. I want them to display randomly in the 5 positions (but never appear more than once)

Every location has a choice of random or static advertisements. I can't guarantee that you won't see the same advertisement twice in a row but they will all get exactly equal time in the spot.

Just wondering, if there would be any mod to see which member has clicked and how many times they clicked on an ad? I would love is this was available, this way once they click x amount of ads, I can set them up to not view ads for a month, and this would get them motivated to help, and yea... you understand.

When we go to update this, by importing the XML will it blank out the current settings?

Your readme file is a text file cluttered with bbcodes fyi.

Hi RedTyger,

Getting this after I installed the new version 3.12.... (This was not a prob in last version I had, which was 3.04 I believe)

With "Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template" marked as YES in STYLE AND LANGUAGE SETTINGS

and

"Display Advertisements as User?" marked as YES in VB AD MANAGEMENT

The Ads show up as the new horizontal layout format... (This throws off the look of the thread and does not appear to be a user)

Any fix please?

Thanks....

That is not something I will do, it's very open to abuse indeed. That'll have to be a project for yourself. :)

No, your settings will all remain.

Yes, it is. But it's still readable.

Bah, forgot about this one. It's fixed now.

Hi!

I just downloaded and installed the version 3.13. I updated the Version 3.04. Now, no ad is shown. Any Hints?

PechGehabt 04-07-2007 11:13 AM

Hi!

I found the problem: If you update from 3.04 you will need to copy the content from the include folder to your include folder of your server installation... everything works now. thanx for the great plugin!

DOes this replace version 2.x ? I don't wan tthe ad sharing portion of this.

Also, can the code be modified to only showing the postbit ad after the first post, on the first page?

You should still upgrade, there are other improvements. Ad-sharing is disabled by default.

Alter the postbit(_legacy)_advertisement template like so. Surround the contents with a conditional:

<if condition="$post[postcount] == '1'">
CONTENTS OF POSTBIT TEMPLATE
</if>

Please click Install so you don't miss updates.
