Force did some changes on my forum and it reverted back to a huge block under the posts that looks absolutely terrible. I tried to do the same fix but now I get this error:

Does anybody know how I can fix this please?

Post the code your trying to replace.
What template.
And any other info that may help me track the issue down.

Never mind I see where the problem is, it says to add the code to the post_thanks_postbit and it should read Replace the code. Working now.

Yes, the thumb is barely visible, very small. I was wondering if anyone has used anything else?

Thanks, yeah I did all that already. I just wanted to see what everyone else was using and how it looks, etc. I haven't found anything that fits decent and looks ok.

I made it work only by editing the version lines in the xml file.
I used it back in vb 3.8 and had a lot of thanks given among users already so changing to a new hack meant losing all that data.

Perhaps this has been asked a lot of times but I could not find any solution for it. :(

I have upgraded my board from 3.8.4 (www.forum.com) to 4.2.2 (www.forum.com/vb4) --> (Vb 5 does not support this hack)
It's a clean install and new database. Using impex I have transferred all of my threads, posts etc. Impex is not solid, so with less effort I managed to set everything straight, except for the amount of thanks per user.

I looked at the table where thank you(s) were stored and I found that reputation has a lot of comments so I exported it and imported it again to the new database. But without any luck sadly.

How can I make a good back-up of my MySQL database so that when I import the amount of thanks are whole again per user. Perhaps there is a different method. Thanks in advance :)

This hack has Always been a godlike addon to vBulletin.

Ok, n00b question but I installed Advanced Post Thanks / Like v3.1.7 (Lite) and imported it into the AdminCP.

Don't see the Like/Thanks buttons but do see the stats for those.
Am I not seeing b/c I haven't gotten a license?

Quick question to whoever that can answer. One of the members in my forum wishes to delete all of the thanks that he received. I am able to delete thanks posted by a user, but how do I delete "thanked" for a user?

is there away to show the thanks score(number only) of the first post in threadbit as variable?

This does not work for 4.2.? I tried it, installed perfectly into the host files, but then uploaded the XML and it says it is not compatible.

when I want to select all posts of a thread by the "inline-moderation" it selects only the first post

and the button at the bottom shows "Moderation (0)"

when I disable the hack it works.

any idea or bugfix/update?

If you are using anything higher than vb 4.1.x then this plugin is not for you try dbtech thanks one its better

I've been using this hack on 4.2.2 and it works perfectly. I have no problem with my in-line moderation tools or anything else for that matter.

Can you view the thanks?
Go to the profile and select "show thanked by user"... For me, it's not working anymore...

To see the posts a user has thanked, I just go to the user profile and click the 'About Me' tab and scroll down to Statistics. There it will indicate the user's total thanks received and given. Clicking on either 'Find all thanked posts by XXXXX' or 'Find all posts thanked by XXXXX' will open a list of applicable posts. I see no other visible option to see the thanks given or received.

I replaced the code with <dependency maxversion="4.2" minversion="4.0.0 beta 4" dependencytype="vbulletin"/> as you said, but upon importing it says:

" XML Error: Reserved XML Name at Line 1 "

Would you please tell me what I'm doing, or have done wrong? Thank you very much!

I would be willing to bet you used a improper file editor, try redownloading the zip and edit the XML with notepad ++
