im getting that error after trying to view a user history........

Why do I keep getting this message?

The vbBux / vbPlaza Product XML you have imported does not match the same Version number as the PHP files uploaded. Please reupload all PHP files to your forum's root folder. Then re-import the Product XML file with Allow Overwrite set to Yes.

I read the past threads and change the version to 1.5.3 and 1.5.4 and reistalled the plugin with Yes override. Now what?

Creates double topic titles. I installed ONLY this mod after redoing my boards and did EVERYTHING and saw the doubles. I THEN went back from the last modifcation which was the one i quoted.

First off, this is one of the BEST supported and written hacks (especially since it's FREE) on 3.5.x...

Secondly, CMX replies to just about every thread in that forum. So please be patient.

There isn't a more supported and updated hack on 3.5.x.....

Hey. I installed this hack, and it works GREAT! ^_^ Only, when I try to access the Ribbons or Gifts links, it tells me that I do not have the permission to purchase those items, despite me saving it as giving me permission.

Any idea's how to fix? ^^

did CMX say there is no solution or has he just not answered your thread yet? did you create a thread about it? be patient if he hasn't answered your thread yet...took him a while to get to mine too...anyway hope you used part of the problem for the subject. makes it easier to help you.

new user is here. we are using 1.2.0 on 3.5.3, I guess this new version can work on 3.5.3? anyway, a great job and thanks, CMX.

our platform is vB 3.5.4, does this updated version work well on that platform? thanks a million.

The ebux payment subscription manager doesn't seem to work.
Any paid subscriptions show up as active, but the amount of vbux points are not updated. I have pm'ed someone else who had the same issue, but he simply installed the separate hack again, which did work. The only issue he had is that the twice amount of points were added.

If you choose to add an x amount of points when any paid subscription has been paid, it will add the points. It just won't add any specified paid subscriptions, which are set to a specific amount of credits through the ebux paid subscription manager.

Could anyone else confirm the above issue?
I am using VB 3.54

Just an FYI

The import xml file 'product-vbbuxplaza.xml' has SQL syntax errors in it when used with MySQL 5.1.7 beta. It may be a 5.x thing in general, I don't know.

In any case, the error is in the 'CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS' lines (about line 288 in the file, for example).

The 'type=MyISAM' needs to be replaced with 'ENGINE = MYISAM'

I found this by disabling all the $db->hide_errors() in the xml and saw what the offending error was.

Otherwise, the script runs happily as if everything worked, even though it did not create a single table with prefix vbp_

Another small nit I have with the install is that the page that shows the status of the install/upgrade has a redirect at the end, so it disappears from the browser too fast to really read anything on it. Should be a button to continue.

maybe it should be vbbux or something dealing with vbbux/vbplaza...i have no idea really it was just a thought.

I have lost most of templates with latest upgrade.. mostly all borders are gone.. Anyone with similar problem?

none of the thread options are working for me, such as colored thread title, bold, italics, etc. I can see the color go in the database under the user table, but the thread never shows up in that color. Have been trying all day. HOpefully not a bug

I have this installed on 2 different styles, when someone enters the vbBux vbPlaza in style A, they immediatly are changed to the "default" style, Style B.

How do I stop this so users who chose to be in one style, remain in it when going into vbBux vbPlaza

do you have it vb options set so users can pick whichever style they want without override?

i have the forum set to a default but they can use whatever style they want and i don't have a problem...just check your vb options and make sure you don't have it set to override...

other than that the only thing i can think of is create a new vbplaza misc option...which i would need to look at to figure out fully...but i do see it has an option for "free" but its for advanced users....check that out if nothing else works i guess.

Out of sheer curiosity, would this work with vB3.0.0?
