I am a long time user of forum translation mods and one of the first people to donate to NLP-er. Our site has over 4M PVs each month and our site map of translated pages, concentrating on around 15 languages, is over 8M links.

The fact of the matter is that Google's TOS is clear about usage and there is nothing in the Google TOS that is negative on using their service for automated machine language translation. Google encourages it. In fact, Google provides a API key for users to use their service and guidelines on giving Google credit "Powered by Google", and also on translation caching.

This mod was designed by NLP-er to be completely compliant with Google's TOS. Therefore, your statement that Google is not fond of this type of mod is completely wrong and unfounded (without any basis of fact).

This is a very professional reply. Spreading unfounded fear, uncertainty and doubt is, in my opinion, unprofessional and hence the reason I replied to your misinformation and FUD. I think users here should have facts and not unfounded "opinions" that create FUD and are not based on any facts or in Google's TOS.

I hope you will cease arguing with me about this issue and will drop your tact of "name calling". In my opinion, your posting of fear, uncertainly and doubt, without any basis of fact, is problematic and hence, as a long time user, I replied to clear the misinformation in your posts.

You have been corrected. Accept it and move on. Thanks.

Most of them are created from IP's coming from Google.
This issue is harmless, so you can be calm. Translations and normal pages are working well.

I thought that this issue disappear after few changes, but I see that it will be necessary to investigate it again.

Corrected bug for translation of description and title in meta tags.

It was small, but very important bug - description is how Google shows your page in results.
