Just installed this(or atleast i tried to)

i put the stuff in the files folder(not the actual "Files" folder) into my root
i put the stuff in the images>>misc folders (not the actual folders) into the images>>misc under forum under the root.

it doesnt show up on my homepage.
i looked for everything on my user permissions but nothing was there for the shoutbox.

this is what i got when i went to the stylevars

i tried figuring out what it was but i can't. it looks like it says files are missing but i dont see how that would be right. idk.
any help is appreciated :)

Pretty straightforward ;)

Only thing is, it doesn?t work very well. It shoots the formatting to pieces.

That REALLY looks like you didn't upload the files in the correct dir.

Whatever root of your forum is Upload the files FROM that path.

How do I get this mod to work on a custom skin/template? My default template is a custom one. I have messed with all the permissions and other options. I still can not get the chat box to show up. I have uploaded all the files and installed the product twice. The chatbox controls show up correctly in the Admincp. Just no chatbox on my forumhome page :(

i use this version of plugin for more than a year on my website, www.hwmaster.com , recently i've upgraded the php version to 5.3 , and now the chatbox doesnt work.

i've already tried to unistall and reinstall the plugin, but still doesn't work. any solutions? Is that the php 5.3 version doesn't support it?

It's not PHP that's the issue. MGC's site is running PHP 5.3.

Enable php debug and find the errors.

Or use firefox error console and post the error.

What version is vbulletin?

Bernd Glasstett 08-08-2012 08:14 AM

We use the chatbox since we changed to vBulletin 4. Here are some feature requests:

- I would like to show a certain channel as standard-channel in a certain forum. Seems that this isn't possible, as the standard-channel always shows up first.
- We would love to setup channels in order to only have a certain amount of users in it.
- We would love to have the option to give voice to users. Right now everyone can talk who is in the channel. But this isn't so good if you would like to set up an interview-chat.

If any of this is already possible, please tell me how. I haven't been able to find anything about it.

Bugs:
- Seems that the archive doesn't properly display older chat-messages. We have almost 1.000 chatmessages, but I cannot display them:
http://www.comicforum.de/mgc_cb_evo....id=0&dlimit=-1
Version is 3.2.3 on vBulletin 4.2.0 Patch Level 2
- Seems that the display on other channels than the standardchannel doesn't work right, as it looks rather broken:
http://www.comicforum.de/mgc_cb_evo....id=1&dlimit=14
an analysis showed up that the CSS isn't loaded.
