There are some bugs in 2.6.1+ that need to be fixed. :) And there' always a chance Zeropage will introduce some new features. :)

ive completed every step and am unable to find this code to replace in the template i have even read the script word for word and its not there

click SAVE and edit the Template navbar (below "Navigation/Breadcrumb Templates")

In this navbar-Template search for:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[calendar]</a></td>


Below add:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="arcade.php?$session[sessionurl_q]">Arcade</a></td>


click SAVE.

Im running v 3.6.7 is this not compatible with my version if not what is??? thanks

It -is- 3.6.7 compatible. Try and look for part of the code like search for:
<a href="calendar.php$session
However the exact line is there, use the find function.
If it is not there, probably the navbar template was changed some time. In that case you can revert it and try again.

I agree, its the least we could do for such a fine MOD. It certainly keeps my members coming back again and again.

Why would there be a installer.php?

installer.php is only needed for vBulletin 3.0.x
but it IS included in the archive, just open your eyes ;)

well i finally got all the templates changed and the arcade is in the navigation bar and the admin CP, but when i click on any of the links under arcade in the admin CP it says page cannot be displayed and on the forum homepage i can go to the arcade and everything is ok just cant view to change setting in the AdminCP any help would be appreciated

EDIT: nevermind got it, i needed the arcade.php file in the admin folder

I've installed this mod, and it works well. My members like it so far.

I do, however, have a couple of notes/complaints I'd like to point out:

* It isn't as easy to find new games as it should be. I did register at ibparcade, but that is a nightmare. The forum is horrible to navigate, the files have NO information, and - WORST of all - I've been hit by spam sent to my webmaster email address ever since registering, which I truly do not appreciate. No wonder they require a "real" email address... all the better to spam you with.

I'd REALLY appreciate it if someone could point me to some place where I could get legitimate games, with good information, easily understood, with out spam. I'd even be willing to pay a reasonable amount.

I was going to contribute to this mod writer... but at the moment I feel that I'm having to pay by a pound of flesh every time I have to deal with the spam.

Is this V3.6.7 Compatible?

A 3rd of what I got. No choosing which files, completely random. I'll just snag 1/3 of them and zip them up and provide a means for you to download.

And by the way, I believe I have 4500 too. But I didn't want to claim that and then when you receive the files I get complaints that there wasn't that many. Cuz I don't really remember the quantity. I know its a few gigs though.

As of this moment, I have 3407 running in my arcade and I still have lots more I haven't even added yet.

Maybe I'll get a chance to get a better count tonight and I'll reply here.

I have a crap load of games also that I got off torrents, I think recommended awhile ago here or somewhere related. LMK if you want access to them

HEY! Don't just give them away. All of us are taken advantage of Mr Zeropage and very few say thanks. Make these people donate to him. Seriously.

This mod is the most popular mod in vb.org. And he doesn't even charge us for it. He gives it to us for free. The least all of us could do is toss a few bucks at him. I know most of you probably make hundreds if not thousands of dollars a year from your websites and you have this arcade running on your site. How often do you pass a few bucks towards Mr Zeropage?

Aren't you selling games that other people have made though?

If a player had a high score in a game, and it timed out how could I change the score in the data base??

FYI I dont make crap off my site, sadly I dont even make enough to pay the damn server costs. I found the games myself with no ones help downloaded them off wherever I got them and used my own resources to get them, I NEVER use the arcade on my site, maybe the first day I had it, while its a nice hack its not too popular. The developer did a great job but if he needs money then he can charge for it. No one told him to make it free. Im not going to go out and beg for money for him.
