this is normal behaviour, the games do submit their score to this URL :)
Not any risk or issue there... the error-message is the cheat-protection as by manual call of this link it detects that any result does NOT come from a started gamesession.

Getting a couple errors maybe someone can identify... I did make a mistake on install looking at older directions, but to fix this I reimported the game allowing overwrite, hoping that would fix it and restored files and completed install properly.

When adding a game i get these type of errors:

Warning: fopen(nameofgame.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /arcade/functions/tar.php on line 394

Warning: require() [function.require]: Unable to access /home/websitepath/public_html/forums/arcade/tmp/gamename.php in /admincp/arcade.php on line 2862

I was hoping permissions, but they appear to be ok at 777 for /arcade and subdirectories. Most games actually DO install, but a few installed and fail to run. Files appear to all be correct size.

We uninstalled the whole entire vb3 arcade like an IDIOT after noticing there was a Converter for it.. (how stupid)...

So now we installed this FRESHLY.. and we still have numerous games from the v3 arcade saved to the PC..BUT when we added the "vb3 arcades .swf's" were the "ibProArcade .swf's" are... the vb3 arcade games did not work or even show up..
Just the ibPRO games showed up...

WHAT WE WANT IS FOR THE vb3 Arcade games to WORK AGAIN.

PLEASE TELL US EXACTLY HOW TO DO THAT.

Ok, I do not have the time to dig through 214 pages looking for my answer, so, can you add more games to it? If so, how and where do I get them. Also, where is the download for vBux, or anything that I can use to integrate into vbproarcade, I would like it to cost them points to play and they get points if they win.

Hi guys, just to let you know, i've noticed an abnormal amount of load
put on the cpu by the mysql server, after installing the ibProArcade
mod.

This only happens if you enable the display of "tournament winner" in
the postbit.

I'm referring to those two options :
- Show Highscores in Postbitsaves
- Show Tournaments won in Postbitsaves

If you enable those two options, i've noticed that the load on the
server will increase dramatically.

I've a dedicated double xeon server, running vbullettin 3.6.7 on
Apache2.0+PHP5+MYSQL5 and the usual server load with 500 simultaneous
users connected to the forum doesn't exceed the 1.0 on an average.

With those two ibpro options turned on, i've noticed a heavy increase
on the server load, i'm talking about DOUBLE load, a 1.8 - 2.0 on an
average basis?

Moreover in three distinct occasions the mysql database has gone into
a sort of loop and the server load has grown over 40.0.

It took to me a long time to understand what query was causing all
that load, and the problematic query was SELECT t.champion, u.userid
FROM tournaments AS t LEFT JOIN user AS u ON (t.champion = u.usernam
…) etc ...

So, i don't know if that's specific to my configuration, but i've
thought to share this with you.
If you notice an enormous load on your sql server, try to disable
those two previously mentioned options, and things should definitely
improve. Hope it helps

I am getting this weird database error while IBParcade is trying to save a high score for some games for some users.

Searched a lot but could not find any help. Can some one help me to debug this.

I am having an image problem on displaying the game img, it is appearing about 5 times larger then it should, when i try to save Height/Width, it says it saves, but the img still appears larger then it should be showing.

I am running VB 3.6
IBPro 2.6
I got the game from PNflashgames.com
I have installed two so far, same image issuse.

any ideas?

i downloaded and installed ibproarcade but i uninstalled for two reasons: first, a click on the game link is considered a "play" and, second, i've modded my v3arcade substantially and didn't want to face the daunting task of reproducing my work.

the tournament option is great though.

Very nice. But I'd like to change the noavatar.gif to my own no-avatar image. Does anyone know which template/file contains the link for it?

That maybe true, but I want to use a png image instead of a gif image. And since the default extension was set to gif, I need to manually change it to the png extension.
