What is the css for the Textarea?

DragonByte Tech 02-09-2011 09:15 PM

The input area works off of two StyleVars:
input_background and control_focus_background. The first is before the user selected the input area, and the 2nd is while the user is typing.

The actual shouts' background area works off of the postbit_background StyleVar.

Hope that helps :)

Bro;

Is there anyway possible to add background images to the shoutbox? would look pretty cool i guess.

Thanks;
Nisarg

Possibly, though we don't support customisations so you'll have to experiment yourself :)

Search for
Code:

.formcontrols .blockrow .dbtech_shouts .dbtech_vbshout_window .dbtech_vbshout_frame {
There is something like
background: none repeat-x scroll left top #COLOR

Hello,

i want that guests can use the Shoutbox. I set the permission in instance management but they only can view the SB but not write.

Any idea?

This chatbox is using a TON of resources on my site, is there any way to minimize this?

DragonByte Tech 02-21-2011 04:02 PM

* Disable the active users block
* Increase time between refresh (10 seconds+)
* Decrease time to idle
* Hide shoutbox from guests
* Turn on auto-idle
