I chmod 777 the videothumbnails and videoserviceapi...did I miss something else?

I told you when I get it, what I've done, and the error that comes up when I upload a video. If you want more information, I'd be glad to seek it out.

When I subscribe via RSS the resulting links are producing "s=" and then a random series of numbers followed by the "&do=viewdetails&videoid=xxx".

This results in not being taken to the video directly; but rather the index of the Video Directory.

I noticed even in the demo link if you subscribe to it via RSS, the same result occurs, so it's not just my feed.

I'd post example links but for some reason the links are getting mangled here when attempting to post them!


Is there a file edit I can make to "fix" this behaviour?

I can NOT get a IMG bbcode to work in the landing announcement, though all other bbcodes seem to work.
I'm trying to put a banner in there... and it just won't show up. :(

Admincp >> video directory >> General settings >> Landing Announcement


Its really weird. Works on a different forum I have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D seriously driving me nutz trying to figure it out :/

Im not willing to give our site a db error I dont have a clue to get rid of and ending up needing to revert to a db backup. What I do know is this-

Mariocaz, I'm using 3.7.4 on one forum, 3.8.0 on another and they are both working. So, it should work. Good luck! :up:

CHMOD the directories INSIDE /videothumbnails
