crist - could you give me a hand? I tried installing this about 6 weeks ago couldn't get it to work at all and uninstalled it (removed template edits as well). I just reinstalled it and I cant seem to get it to work.

I uploaded the files in the 'upload' folder
I uploaded the produt xml
I completed the template edits
I allowed Admins to use this in Usergroup options
I went to AnyMediaCode option in vb Options and it is set to 'on'

However I still get this
Code:

[MEDIA]http://www.myrul.com/movie.wmv[/MEDIA]
We do not have to create a custom BB code right?

Thanks in advance.

1: when i try to use anymedia with metacafe, firefox work fine but on IE it show a blank. How can I fix that

They're using the same way to fetch the video,
if one works fine on FF,
it will be okay on IE as well.

So that mean I have to contact my host to enable the 'allow_url_fopen' option, or enable the 'fsockopen/curl_init' functions ??

Thnx

Emmmmmmm.....
Try more,
if failed all the time,
contact the host to detailed it.

It works fine in my server.

Oh, and I tried

Use AnyMedia Player for Youtube Video?

both options

utw-Mephisto 05-26-2006 03:42 AM

Ok, I only had a collapsed played when posting, I needed to refresh the whole page first for the player to show up .. Mmm... So I assume it doesn't use Ajax :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXXXXX

and

http://www.youtube.com/v/XXXXXXXXX

are both right.

and if it's collapsed,

maybe you turn on the collapsed option in admincp,

or maybe you edit it via Ajax way, and just refresh the page to load it,

because javascripts is not working fine with innerHTML func.

A question: Doesn't the Player operate with the Apple Mac OS X Safari-browser?

A Quicktime film does not start. The Quicktime Logo is however
displayed. No problems with Firefox!

Kind Regards

I have the same issue and Crist knows about it; he said he'll work on it and try to fix it soon. He doesn't have access to a Mac though so it's hard to troubleshoot. But it is a known issue and I, too, have my fingers crossed that Crist will be able to solve it sometime soon.. :bunny:
