When I installed it I got this error while importing the product:

Is that mean it didn't install right?

In the Admin CP -> Configure Game Settings
I get this error...

Invalid SQL:

Thanks forte, that fixed the problems I was having..
However when I imported the product it said:

But the admin cp links for Triple Triad are working now.

Feel free to use the port I made however you need or want. I really didn't change much more then fixing some of the variables and a few other things. :)

I haven't utilized it for a long time. I didn't carry it over when I upgraded to 3.6 and my hands are rather full with the email integration mod and a few other things.

If it'll help spring board you ahead Darkwaltz4, by all means, go for it :)

:-p its getting entirely rewritten, i wont even be using my own files much (except for the images and my optimized rule checking functions :D - even the ai is getting rebuilt now that ive had some ai courses :D)

And when i go run the install script i get this error

And ican't find the CP menu.

somewhere in this thread was a vb3.5 port of this hack. that port should work on 3.6, and possibly even 3.7 :-p

Mine is working for 3.7RC1. Although it is possible that i added some other fixes.

So...should we just go to that?

If you've given up on the project for the time being I understand, but the only reason I didn't install a port before was because I was expecting a new version and I didn't want to have to install it twice. If the port of the old hack is the best we can do for now, I'm ok with that, I just want to know :(

actually, i have an official 3.6/7 port almost done :-p only took a couple hours, but fixing up a bug before release tonight/tomorrow. you can see it installed on vbcredits.com (stadium disabled until bug fixed, sorry)

if you happen to have old tables still on your server, it shouldnt delete them, so "upgrading" would be a matter over overwrites and stuff.

if you are using the 3.5 port, im not sure if anything structurally was changed, so cant vouch for compatibility there. at least not immediately.

again, simply a port, nothing new added at all. nothing you would notice of course. this is NOT Triad? whatsoever, in fact i specifically restrained myself from updating the code in any way outside of changing function names etc to work with 3.6/7 :-p

So is Triad3 still coming along? That's all I want to know really, I'd rather install the new thing right off but if Triad3 is on hold indefinitely I'll install the old thing.

also, vbtripletriad is officially running and open to play on vbcredits.com :D just fixing it up for easy install and then release. (remember, only a port for now!!)

Hey Darkwaltz, when are you planning on releasing the 3.7 port? :) I run my own Final Fantasy forums and would love to use this hack. Thanks for the work!

:D it is available from vbcredits.com right now, the vb3.6 port should work fine on vb3.7, but im fixing a couple bugs before i release it here for vb3.7

How come you haven't updated this mod's entry on vB.org to the newer 2.8 version? That way everyone would be able to quickly know that there is a version that works with vB3.6/3.7.

:-p because i am fixing up the bugs reported from the users on my site, and that will be the version i officially announce. its actually done, just havent gotten around to revising the description and making pages and such for it :p
