I am having an issue where the spiders don't get passed the index, anyone have any suggestions. My archive is right there but it won't spider anything but the index.

Any help is appreaciated.

Double check your work. You most likely missed a code chunk on index.php.

Yes. Just change the template forumhome_loggedinuser so that the users without userids are colored the way you want them.

Hi recently upgraded to 3.0.8, I now see on the index.php:

"Currently Active Users: 5 (1 members and 4 guests and spiders)" clicking ONLINE.php shows that all guests are spiders, before it shown 1 members 0 guest x spiders...

On online.php I see this at the top:

%1$s members and %2$s guests and %3$s spiders
Most users ever online was %1$s, %2$s at %3$s.

How can I fix that?

ive installe this but its not working 100 %

on the forum home it shows:

Currently Active Users: 4 (2 members and 2 guests and 0 spiders)

when i click currently active users and view what people are looking at it says:

2 members and 1 guests and 1 spiders

and actually tells you the name of the spider yet it doesnt do this on the actual forum home

is there something ive done or something i can do to fix this :D

Maybe try reinstalling it and seeing if it works. Or maybe you have another hack thats conflicting with it.

Just a suggestion.

This looks like a good mod, but how would I add search engine spiders? And how can I remove the space after each spider's name?

You add search engine spiders in the Admin CP. It's standard with vBulletin. As for your second question, I'm not sure how. You would probably have to edit the templates...

ive read through the whole thread now and cant seem to see a fix for my problem

on the forum home it displays like this:

Currently Active Users: 14 (1 members and 13 guests and 0 spiders)

when i click "currently Active users" it displays like this:

1 members and 8 guests and 5 spiders

ive gone through the hack 3 times and ive done it exactly the same.

the only thing i can seee wrong is the forum home template edit cos thats the front page right? but ive checked that and ive replaced the text correctly.

is there a error in the instructions maybe any had this problem and fixed it?

please help i really want this hack

As to the problem, make sure you have the variable names correct in the template and code edits. If you get the wrong variable, it will show 0.

Go into the Phrase Manager, find that Phrase, and type {1} members and {2} guests and {3} spiders for the English Translation.

go to your admincp panel........locate langauges and phrases on the left hand side of the page., and open that menu. Now click on phrase manager....you should now see a phrase menu........on the bottom of that page, click on search in phrases....in the search for text box, place: x_members_and_y_guests inside of it.....then select "Phrase Text and Phrase Variable Name" and click on find......

another box will pop up "Search Results" and you will see "x_members_and_y_guests" .........now click on the word edit over to your right...in the translation box, add {1} members and {2} guests and {3} spiders

then click save.........you are done

I got that part done, but it seems like the addon isn't working.
Is it supposed to be like this? Currently Active Users: 13 (11 members and 2 guests) or Currently Active Users: 13 (11 members and 2 guests and 0 Spiders)?
I removed it for the time being.
