OK I get a page error and narrowed it down (using line a character details) and it leads to a problem with a line statement added with the VBpager hack

The page error and it show a explaination icon in the lower left hand corner saying
"error: expected ')'

and when I look up where its telling the error is, its located here

using the "line" a "character" provided it leads to the word "javascript" between the a and s ?

Does anyone know why this would be an issue.

How do you empty all the messages at once. I have like 5300 and now things are acting weird.

Today I got a Pager message and now every page I go to pops up the same message over and over. I tried replying, closing and I even turned off the pager in AdminCP. Can anyone help me out.

Nevermind I just deleted all 5300 by selecting 1000 per page in admincp. Didn't take that long.

Does Hard Delete Messages mean the system does NOT save any messages, because I like to have it that way.

I installed the hack , and it works perfect on 3.0.8
I just have a little problem , and that is that some users CAN´T click the close button. Whats up with that ? If i choose "allow user to reply" it works, if i don´t allow him , the users can´t close the window!
Isn´t there a possibility to FORCE the "Allow user to reply" button ?
Would be nice if someone has a solution for this wonderfull hack.

I installed the ajax vb pager 3.0.4 on my site and it's not working properly.

The little icon that's supposed to page someone that should be by their sn isn't showing up on my site and if i manually try to page someone, i hit the page button and it doesnt do anything...

Finally got it to work but here is something I don't like. You can't keep a converstation going. You only get one reply and that is it. Anyway to tweak to make a conversation keep going?

THis will work for all versions, but some template edits cant be done. But, can still be used.

Was there ever a patch released for the vulnerability in the 3.6 version?

It really is such a great mod.

We have VB 3.6.2.. I have only installed 2 other add on's to the program. But last one was about 5 months ago. and I had step by step instructions to do it.

Are there any step by step instructions to installing this add on into 3.6.2 or at least some general ones??

I stilll use this ,And I run 3.6.8. I have used this sence....omg I cant remember...This has worked on all versions over the last few years, for me. Some Template edits can not be done, but It does still work. As you will see, there are some risk in using this mod as well as any other chat mod, but I have to many members who like the pager, that they want this mod more then any other mod we have installed, and we have many. If any of you dont have the pager on your site & wish to see it & use it, feel free to visit my Site You will have to register to use it though...Sorry

+1 to that, my members love this mod. We're up to date on the latest vb version as well and it's continued to work just fine.

I wish someone could tell me what the vulnerability is so I could fix the damn thing and not have to worry about it anymore. This is a pretty stupid way of protecting the community from a security flaw in my opinion. Certainly we could have had this fixed a long time ago.

take my advice .. and dont upgrade to the last version , if you want this mod.
I tested this mod. in 3.7 and sadly .. it doesn't work well ..

hope we found a new version of it in 3.7 section ..

I'm using 3.0.4 of this mod with vB3.7 and it works perfectly well.
