It runs out of the box ;)

no verification email... I have everything set up like stated in directions.

Check you hosting / server emails mate... this plugin uses that..

I have question them if they use it many times, But all answer me they did it once, after receiving the mail they clicked the link once.


Another thing, I have blocked domain e-mail in vBulletin user prevention mails from registering , But unfortunately I don't know why it keep sending mails to these domains through your product.

Okay I have test this by myself... I have registered a new account with new E-mail address and I have received the code and link.

I clicked on the link and it moved me to the same registration form with the code already typed.

After I filled up the form, It shows me this message:

If it was working properly then its no the plugin.. its most likely a conflict with another plugin or some other settings.. i suggest uninstall fully and the reinstall.. see if that fixes :)

I can confirm and vbulletin.org also confirmed its now safe.. it was put in graveyard until i fixed which i did, hence its now back ;)

how come the script says "Remote mail provider does not exist, so it will not be able to use this e-mail." ... i'm putting a working email address.

thats nothing to do with plugin at all mate...

could be email server blocking port or error like that.. have you tried another email address..

You do not receive an email with the registration code. I tested the PHP email via diagnostics in V bulletin CP and that works fine.

why it says "registration Page are available only to the link specified in the email which is sent to the specified e-mail!" and after entering the e-mail and click continue, then opens the registration page? why not return to index page? someone tell me?

I am not sure if my answer will be so helpful but even though it takes you to registration page but it still asks you for registration key and if you don't enter that you can't register. Once you hit continue it takes to registration page so you can check your email and either copy paste it or click on the link from email which will populate the registration key for you.

it should be so - a link with the verification code to complete the registration page should only be in e-mail! why do spammers and bots to load the registration page?

The product description says it is working for vB 4.2.3, so it should work for 4.2.4+ as well. :)

Doesn't seem to work for vB 4.2.4, is there a chance to request a help? I'd very much appreciate any suggestions. My best guess is, it's something small, like 1 line of code or something.

The product installs itself just fine, but there are no verification codes being sent to the emails. Quite strange.

Hi Mark, the style is not shown well when a user wants to register.

It seems something is not OK with this product since only is shown well on the default style.
You may test it for yourself in a different style, rather than default one.

That's a test on my localhost, but the result was same on the real host (different styles)

I have the same issue (mod messes up the style), but it's not the mod to be blamed. The style / theme / skin needs to be tweaked. This happens a lot, when you're using mods and then install a custom style or vice versa.

I'd be more curious, if the mod works for you, for me, it doesn't send the verification emails.

This product is marked as "Supported" and the developer has recently been online. The best thing to do is to give the developer a chance to address the issue you're experiencing. :)

This is very true...not all styles are created equally, or are as versatile as others. :D

That problem could be server-side.

You may send test emails via ACP / Maintenance / Diagnostics / Email to see whether there exists any errors.

I am running 4.2.1 and this is the answer to a determined spammer, thank you! HOWEVER, Gmail and AOL (at least) do not receive the code. It does not even make their spam folders. Yahoo, does, but hits the spam folder, which is fine. Other providers like Verizon and others have no problem. What can I do? I Love this, but have found that without these mail services, my join count is down to nothing. :(

is it possible that the addon the blocked mails takes into account the user can not there with re-register?
