I fixed it, but something causes problem in your installation. Most probably the Tweets as I can see it double in the iframe.

It still does the same for me. The RSS box is open by default and clicking X brings you to main forum page. I installed 5.0.3 and then upgraded to 5.0.4

its not the link that is appearing it is a big rss feed box that takes up the top part of the screen

hmmmmmmmmmm.............. I seen it before in another installation, but most probably it comes (at that installation) from a Tweets javascript that he has there. Do you've something like this too? If yes, can you temporary turn it off?

It is not just the link the whole RSS box is there if you click on the X to close it it brings you to the home page. On yours you just have the link and when you click on it a popup comes up which is cool, on mine the whole RRS box is open and when you click on the X it redirects to the home page

What exactly is your problem in your admincp? Are you looking the menu options on the left panel and clicking them you're getting nothing on the right?

Chmoded the photos directory and they work now thank you.

Found another problem though. I tried to use the contact the seller link while logged in as another user and it said that it was an invalid recipient username. There was no option to change the username in the popup. In the end, the PM was still delivered successfully.

ISSUE - I cannot provide my fellow administrator permission to administer settings for the classifieds, any way I can allow other administrators to edit the general settings in here?

Also, a read-me or some documentation would be nice.

Here are two problems I am having.

There is an unwanted space on Classifieds page above the navbar.

As others have mentioned, the last 4 options in the AdminCP navgroup are showing blank pages.

EDIT: A little more info... I've disabled EVERY product in my system and neither of these problems were resolved. I'm running the latest vB version, forum only.

You can use it in the US as long as you don't have a domain with an extention of .no (Norway), .se (Sweden), .dk (Denmark) or .fi (Finland).

correct i get the general settings and that is it. the other options give a blank screen.

also when i am in the setting screen i get a dbase error when i click on modify thumbnails.

ok after i CHMOD the photos directory the error disappeared.

I think the author is doing a tremendous job. I haven't installed it, but I'm waiting for the final kinks to be ironed out (as I'm sure many other silent members are). Once this goes live I absolutely will be donating. Keep up the great work and dont burn out! :) just voted for motm.

in reference to the admin controls not working ( shows blank screen)

i noticed in microclassifieds_admincp.php in the required backup section these entries

i am not using cms and do not have these files in my folders. could this be the reason that it is not working?

I started using the new version and found a few issues:

When using Contact Seller and Email It, I got this error:
Message: Invalid recipient username. Please press the back button, enter the correct username and try again.

However, PMs and E-mails are sent fine.

Currencies: In the settings, you can only select a single currency. Different currencies are essential for global sites. Perhaps there could be a dropdown list?

Currencies, needs a deeper and better approach as I'm planing to add online payments. That's why I changed it as a first step. By the way. I read your post for your extra fileds. There are some minnor changes that I need to do, one of them is the extra fields. As I wrote this version was the custom work and my client has extra fields related to seller (eg phone nbr), so they wanted them there. But sure during weekend when I'll work globally for extra fields, I'll put them back.

Keep in mind that version 5.x.x here is not compatible with vB versions prior to 4.0.8

This version 5.x.x is the one that I had in mind to sell as PRO.

They're there to protect you from directory listing by the browsers. But you can remove if you want.
