At checkout, the First Name,Last Name and Zip Code fields need to be edited. What file has this in it so I can change what is displayed? Currently, those two fields read: Firstname (no space between words),Lastname (same thing) and Zipcode (same thing).

has anyone found out how to edit the forum block that says Flagship Product? Can a product be added into this block? can the block be disabled ? How do I edit this Flagship Product block?

When you create or edit a product or service, there is an option towards the bottom that says "Mark as Flagship Product". I would guess that when you say yes, it puts it in that block. As for disabling, not sure there.

Anyone have any ideas on my other question above?

A different was asked earlier on but I never did see an answer anywhere, how do you edit the pdf invoice logo and background? I changed the logo and added the path in General Options and it doesn't show up. I would like to changed the background also, but can't find that anywhere. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

When you add a product you will see Mark as flagship this will then add this product to that block,
but only one flagship product can be added.
if you dont put any product as flagship it will not show that block.


You cannot change the background of the pdf file as this is a class code.
but if you would like to play around with the settings goto line 2060 to line 2089
this is where the code is for the background.

I do have a logo image question though...in general options, would this be the correct path for the logo image under the "Change Invoice Image" section?

I tried this and no image appears in the invoice. Is there a specific folder that the image should be in?

pdf logo images should be uploaded to this folder

microcart/pdf/images/

then when you add this to the options just add the image name like so

pdflogo.jpg

and it will work

I did this and it still comes up blank on the pdf invoice when I add something in General Options. I even tried leaving the field blank and putting an image in the folder called "logo.jpg" as a replacement to the original and that doesn't work either....never had an image this difficult to replace....lol

Few questions...

1. What are the outstanding issues and possible timeframe to repair?
2. Can this be set up to host various vendors? For example... I'm not selling a thing but I may have a handful of users on the site who want to setup a sort of online store. I have the content that people are looking for which would of course benefit those selling content related items.

Finally, I would absolutely pay for this mod if Option 2 is a reality.

So what you want here is to be able to turn of the license key and just show the product name per product.

Is it possible to make it so that you can say usergroup x can use coupons for category Y?

This is possible but would not be added to this system as its not pratical,
if you can choose the product and the usergroup that can use the coupon with then you dont need to choose the category as the coupons are for each product.

Im working on a multi vender version at the moment but its taking abit of time to get it ready.
I cannot talk about the commercial version here but this will be added to that version not this free version.

There will be changes to the free version as to what will change i cannot say just yet as im still working on the changes.

One of my users is getting a weird issue, after adding something to cart he is presented with a screen which has the following Tabs.

Dashboard
Downloads
Products
My Details.

The Breadcrumb says Shop > My Account

He is unable to add items to cart, and pay for them.

The my account page is for products they have paid for not where they can buy products from.
So if your member is trying to buy products from that page they are in the wrong place.
As thats an over view of products paid for.

Is there an email list available for when the commercial version with multi-vendor comes out? I keep checking back on this thread but would prefer to just be emailed.

Can someone please help. I have installed everything and it seem's to have installed without a hitch. I have a few products added. However, I get some error about a security token missing when trying to add to cart. The usergroup has permission to purchase.

I should have mentioned I downloaded the MICROCART_114_2802011.zip version.

Mike, you need to put your path there. The path to the directory that you are using for the downloads. You don't need the *'s in there, they did that to give folks to the idea it needed to be changed with your actual username on the server.

ok, created it without the *'s and it's one folder under my forum and used my username like this: home/forum/username/files and I still can't get my screenshots or thumbnails to appear.

UPdate: I found that the Thumbnail for the screen shot is going to forum/microcart/photos/thumbs. The thumbnail is there. The Screenshots are ending up the photo's folder but... Size is 0kb. This tells me that the ABOVE path is for Downloadable files for purchase on a per user basis and not for pics.

So, why would the images get uploaded but at 0kb? What's holding it up? yikes

UPDATE:
If I manually up a thumb to my photos/thumbs with the name that failed to upload then it appears.
Screenshots fail uploading as well, but source showed where it was looking for the image of the screenshot here: microcart/photos/thumbs/6155b071b57f091add071aaa4c48a2c7.jpg

All I need to do is figure why the upload is failing. When I upload a folder, it hangs on the blank Vb screen. I tried this on another forum with Vb 4.0.2 and exact same result.

I'm trying to go about modifying it a touch here and there though, but thought I'd ask you first in case you were already on to it. I would like to show tax inclusive pricing in the shop (i.e. before going through to the cart - is there any plan for this?

Also, can you direct me to where I can modify the pdf invoice output? I am trying to add a few lines to the invoice, and also modify some of the tables that are created - all help appreciated!

Looks like to did not remove all the tables for the microcart system and thats why you have this error.
goto your mysql and remove all microcart_ tables then try and re-install.
If you are still having problems please pm me with admincp and cpanel access and ill install it for you.

I will see about an option per product to turn on or off some options.

I will put a new option in to turn off the downloads tab, as for the forum block im working on this and will have a new update when i have time.
Im very busy at the moment with privet work at the moment and that comes before any free scripts.

when you got your webhost account you used a username to setup the account in most casses this would be put in where it says ***username***

please make sure your folder microcart and all folders within this folder are chmodded to 777

to remove or modify the background look at line 2060 to 2089

to edit the PDF out put you will need to look for this

and change it the way you like here.
to add a new line use this

this folder is no longer required microcart/fonts
all fonts are now in the pdf folder
