Open the drop down menu for the style in question "BlackEnd" and click "Edit Settings" here you can rename the style...

I don't think this is what is causing the issue tho.. see how it goes and if the problem continues please PM ME or Steve (Qwk86gn) with your URL and admin login details to your site one of us will look into this for you asap.

I installed this; however, when i change theme it only gives white screen. What do I do too fix

Re-uploaded the style package. I think there may have been a mistake in the exporting of the xml. Not really sure why most are not having issues but we are getting some random ones.

@Streetgliderx I have sent you a PM and also on your site it seems that you may be running a previous version of Blackend for 4.1.0.

@Raven87, did you import the style-Blackend.xml before importing style-Blackend-Red.xml ? Only suggestion I have for you is to delete the Blackend style and re-import it again.

Ok, I have ran into a little problem. I have uploaded your skins to my site, however when I try to view it the skins don't show the icons for anything. I have checked everything. The skins are installed to drvlogistics.com/images/styles

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

File path and folder names need to be exactly like this: drvlogistics.com/images/Styles/Blackend

Those 2 have to be capitalized.That will most likely be your problem as no images are showing up.

To me that looks like a plugin is causing the display issue. I see no problem on my install with no addons/plugins.

Try to disable plugins that modify the Usernames or stats.

Also is anyone else seeing a problem? Really dont see how this can be related to a style that is not modified that way. How does the Default Style look on both of those installs?

Then it is not a problem with the Blackend style. It has to be a plugin of some sort as no one is replying here with the same issue.

Sorry I no longer have any old copies of the style.

There are no default templates edited. So if you had to revert FORUMHOME it was something you had done, not from the Blackend style.

I love this style, and am using it at boss302.org.

The Profile pages are a little hard to read though... the area on the left where the user information is displayed is black fonts on dark gray, as are the unhighlighted tabs and the "Customize my Profile" button on the right.

I've been trying to figure out how to edit these colors but have been unable to figure it out. Any hints or help? Just trying to get it more readable...

For example, I had a background image for my header only, and the Customize my Profile was picking it up... a little strange...

Profile customization is something left to the admin of the site really. When making a style to release here we have no idea if a user is going to have the options enabled for profile customization so to include edits in the templates or additional.css can cause errors.

With that said there are some ways to get it right.

Login as a admin and go to your profile page. You should see a button above the editor on the right that says "Customize Profile". Click it and customize the style how you like it to be for everyone, then click the button that says "Save as Site Default".

Please note that this makes it these colors for every style you have installed.

Other option is disable profile styling here:

Admin CP -> Settings -> Options -> User Profile Options -> Enabled User Profile Features

After disabling that you can now use CSS to style the user profiles. If I get some extra time here soon, I will try and get a template made so it looks proper.

Thanks, I will check that out. I'm not sure if I was clear, but I was attempting through the stylevars to edit the look and feel of the profile page, because it's just hard to read using the default colors (I have not modified the colors specified in the downloaded style).

I will try your method, but given that some of the colors in the profile are tied stylevars or CSS to other areas of the board, will modifying the look and feel of the the entire forums and CMS? Just curious.

Glad you got it, profile styling is done on its own and does not use the stylevars any longer.

Is there any possibilty where we/i can change "Styles" to "styles" means any way to have it work with a lower "s" ?? i tried to install 2 more skins but due to this issue they don't show images and when i change it to lower "style" they work but then this theme doesn't work ??? If there is any possibility so i can have them working with this theme ???

It would mean going back through the style and changing the paths of all the images that are set in the stylevars and in the additional.css template.

Do the other styles use a "styles" folder? Is that what your saying?

You should be able to create a "Styles" & "styles" folder on your server as letter case is used in image paths.

yes it uses "styles" and thats the only way it works
for example: blackened theme; www.xxxxx.com/images/Styles/Blackened

other theme: www.xxxxx.com/images/styles/bluexxx

so they r in the same image folder but problem is when i keep it as "Styles" then blue skin doesn't show any images and when i change it to "styles" then blackened doesn't show any images.

At such a late stage I would make more people mad than happy with this.

But like I said, I was able to make 2 folders, one named "styles" and the other named "Styles".

Then put the correct style in the correct folder.

Thanks for for helping but please do not tell someone how to remove a footer link unless you know they have actually purchased a brand free option. I know you meant well its just not good practice. :)
