Hmm... It *should* have reset... I suppose it's possible that it didn't count the first month because it was set just after the start of the month... I'll have Fillip have a look at the thread when he comes on.

regardless, This should be fixed in v2 which is due out this month.

Meantime you might want to try setting your threshold higher - it's possible you have it set too low, so that too many peoples points are being counted (if the system counts everyones points for instance, then all those people getting 1 point just for being registered are counted, and the average is dragged waaay down) Try doubling the threshold score and see if that makes the targets more realistic =)

Im getting the same.. everything set permissions for my group + plus all is showing on profile, but when you using tab at top, saying the same you do not have permission to access this page

Cant watch Achivements, Activity and Leaderboards.
They wont open.

That is what it reads for my current activity. Maybe i'm reading it wrong but how can I have 11.5 points, be 8.5 points away from my next level, but only have 15% for my "percent into level".

What are levels for anyway? Is this meant to take the place of typical forum "experience" systems?

Finally. under the activity tab (http://www.explicitgamer.com/vbforum/vbactivity.php) all of the tabs (activity and leaderboard) just attempt to go to anchors with their name and nothing loads. Everything is working great, except one thing. On the activity home there are tabs for achievements, activity, Leaderboards, ect.

When I click it nothing happens. How can I fix this?

Any such inconsistencies will be weeded out for v2, currently the mod is preparing to become a full-fledged Points system and as such, issues like these may arise.
It will all be taken care of, though :)

It's not intended to take the place of an RPG, it's just a way to measure how much a part of the forum a member is, so to speak.


@Everyone: Please re-download and re-upload all files if you have problems with tabs not working.

Thank you for the speedy fix :)

Suggestion: There should be a bar (like to next level bar) that depicts the % of weekly activity you have. I think that is the most important thing when it comes to measuring activity and people love bars.

This is already a feature in the pro version (Daily weekly and monthly activity bars.

The postbit only shows those bars because the others are Pro only :)

You need to use vBulletin's Phrase Manager to translate the phrases of this product.

Add color to the <legend> in these templates: dbtech_vbactivity_postbit, dbtech_vbactivity_postbit_medals, dbtech_vbactivity_memberinfo_achievementsbit, dbtech_vbactivity_leaderboards_leaderboardbit.

installled it on 4.0.3 and now my avatars in the postbit are gone :-/
and the nice thing is that even uninstalling doesn't bring them back :-(

He clearly stated that this is for 4.0.2. though, not 4.0.3.

Are you sure this is related? Because it's been installed on hundreds of 4.0.x installations and nobody has reported this issue.

Quite frankly I don't see how it's possible unless you use some form of modification that interacts with Avatars, and vBActivity is conflicting with it in some way.
vBActivity makes absolutely no changes to user avatars or their display mechanism.

It's working fine on all versions other than 4.0.1, which has a bug in the profile tabs system that renders any custom modification (including vB Blogs) unable to display profile tabs :)

Not sure i completely understand what you are saying here...

Our mod is more fo a cross between vBExperience and YAAS, with tons more features than either of them have added in.

The purpose is the same as these mods, but we feel the quality and features are significantly better =)

Kinda like how Microsoft image editor lets you edit images, as does Photoshop, but one is waaay more advanced and flexible than the other =)

I've installed this mod just to try out to see if I want a pro version.

I didnt like the fact that there were no predefined categories or other achievements. There was no clear instructions either in terms of what each of these things would do and how to get them done.

Perhaps I am someone who has to be told how to do things clearly but perhaps in V2 it would be better if there was some categories and achievements by default including icons, medals etc so then people can edit according to their liking.

Hopefully by the end of the month :)

The Pro version comes with an XML file with predefined stuff, same as we use on Dragonbyte-Tech.com :)

Not really a possibility. The lite version shows all of the basic functionality, our site displays all of the pro features front end etc, giving demo's can lead to issues with people refusing to uninstall etc.
