Quick issue

It sends the PM out that a donation was made automatically if a user goes to the donation button even if they decide not to do it. Also, is the 'confirmation' PM automatic somehow or is there a way i send a confirmation ?

the user name does not show up after adding it just displays as Unknown
also the amount shown is getting decimal value truncated
the reason i need to enter decimal value is the true valu of donation we receive after removing the paypal fees

I installed this mod on vbulletin 4.0.6 and donations to my email work but the donators don't show up also the meter does not work people can donate fine but it won't show up on donor list and meter.

someone?

i have a short question. Is there a donate botton like in this screenie? and if there not is, how do i add one?

This should be default, CCBill is a rip off, thank you for bringing reasonable services charges to vB. Much appreciated sir =)

They won't show up until they are approved. It's in a screenshot in the first post of this thread.
Once they're approved they'll show up.

No i can't even see them there, 2 people donated and nothings there.

Check all of your permissions while you're there. You should be able to see any unapproved donations unless your permissions need editing or the donations never really took place.

went to see the donation list see nothing. What permissions? administrator and forum permissions are all set to yes.

Oh thanks how can i fix the donators they won't show up on the list

How do you know that they did donate?
Did you receive an automated private message or email to alert you?
Did the donated funds arrive in your PayPal account?
Did they tell you that they'd donated?
Have you tried to donate yourself to see if that record shows up in the donators list page? (you don't have to actually donate any money, just go through the process until you hit PayPal and then stop)

If you're sure that they did actually donate then I'm sure the record will be there. It's just that you can't see it yet. Have you tried logging on with the vBAdmin account to see if you can see their records on the donators list page?

Saw the email and payment in paypal.

Mod doesn't work for 4.0.6 i think.

It does work on 4.0.6. I have it installed and working properly on 4.0.6.

I don't know what that is VBAdmin if your saying admin cp then yes i can log in that but i don't know where to look at the donations.

UserID# 1 = the Admin or vBAdmin account
I wondered if you logged in using that account you might see the donations waiting to be approved. Donations waiting to be approved are found by selecting the drop-down link on the Donation Goal Bar and choosing "View Donations".

If you can see the donations waiting to be approved using the Admin or VBAdmin account then it gives you some idea where to start troubleshooting to resolve your problem.

Well i own the forum so i have the administrator account and still cannot see it, only see admin options and donate.

Also i don't use the default groups so i made another administrator group called something different and I don't know why it won't show on that account.

Is there a way to not approve donors and they just show up on the list because I don't want to approve every donation like it gets annoying.

You need to be able to edit donation records so having them show up without approval isn't ideal if you have no editing powers there. Donations could appear even though no money has changed hands and so you need to be able to either approve or delete those records.
Anyone belonging to usergroup 6 (administrator usergroup) should have permissions to approve/delete/add/edit donation records on the misc.php?do=donlist page.

I don't see an option to give permissions to approve/delete/add/edit where would you edit that?

and that page just shows the same nothing no donors.

I am having the same exact problem "unknown22" has specified. I recently put up the paypal donate as an optional service on my forum system. I have done this before in the past and it used to work back in vBulletin 3.8.4 and below. Now I'm using vBulletin 4.0.6 Patch Level 1, and for some reason no matter what the configuration is, the people who donate or try to donate, nothing appears on the donor's list page. I have recieved to donations and trying to find a way to manually add them, and nothing is working. Here is the screen shot below:

Okay, I've got a weird problem with this plugin that I can't seem to solve.

I have the donations set up as follows: 10|1, 20|3, 50|12, 100|36

If a user selects the $10/1 month donation, they get a message back from the paypal stating "The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again."

The $20/3 month and $50/12 month donation goes through to my paypal account just fine.

The $100/36 month returns an error from paypal stating "Invalid Regular period. You must specify valid values for the A3, P3, and T3 parameters for a subscription."

I do have a Business/Premier PayPal Account

I've dinked around with this every way I can and can't figure out where the problems are. I've had a lot of people try to donate, and am losing donation funds daily due to these problems. It seems they only started occurring with the release of vB 4.0.5. Before that all donation levels worked fine. Any ideas?

Ensure that product table exist in your database.

Table name: vsa_ppdonate
Columns: 7

It exist, and there is exactly 7 columns.

I see in phpmyadmin that those who attempted are listed, but it will not display on the template itself...HOWEVER, I learned that if I manually approve those who actually donated in phpmyadmin by setting confirmed to 1, they appear on the view donations...So that way works, but not the admin part on view donations.

If you download the vsa stats the donations work , it shows who has donated but for some reason the mod it self vsa paypal will not show who has donated in X amount of days/months.

Looks like it was broken by an vb upgrade.

Can the author fix it.

Got numerous complains from members that they received the e-mail several times from there latest donation (some people donated in January and also getting this again. (even if they didn't submit a new donation)

Would it be possible to include an option in a future release, to *only* change the displayed usergroup if the user is part of a certain usergroup already, or alternatively, specify usergroups whose displayed group doesn't change regardless of the "Also change user's "Display Usergroup" to VIP/Donor usergroup" setting?

Our members are part of one usergroup, and those that perform duties (like server admins, recruiters and forum moderators) have an additional (display) usergroup, which would be overwritten when they contribute their clan subs.

I've just installed this on v4.0.2, however after reading the info.txt file i cant seem to locate the options for this mod in my admincp?

I've expanded all my menus and cant find anything other than in the plugin manager.

All dates display as d-m-y instead of a real date.

Cant seem to find where to change something to make it work.
