I wasn't seeing the images (using the default Vb4 theme; my only theme). I updated to the new rev today and I get this whenever I try to view a thread:

I disabled it in the ACP and tried running the recounters (just in case it would help) and got this:

I reinstalled and still got the same results. I figured something may be corrupt so I tried to uninstall with the hopes of reinstalling from scratch. After clicking the button, it sat there for several minutes and eventually gave me this:

What should I do now?

Yes, without editing any templates.
I was running this mod and applied the changes to support postbit legacy, so when I updated to this version, I had some warnings about conflicts in the post_thank templates, so I just reverted the templates to the default ones and voila. Every thing is working great now, at least for me. Good luck to every one wanting to use this superb mod. And special thanks and greetings to Abe.

On my custom skin the thanks image still won't appear.

Hi, I'm having a problem with the postbit. When I install this hack, the first post has everything showing fine. But every post after that gets an extra thank you button and thank you count in the postbit. One adds on every new post. I've attached images to show what I mean. I can't use this mod if it is showing like this, so for now I had to uninstall.. Could you please help me with this? Thanks :)

Fixed in next version.

Some other hack you installed is causing this. This is not an error with my hack. It means that someother hack is not using the $template_hook system properly.

Thanks figured it is BBR - Useful Links on Member Action Dropdown. turned that off and all works fine.. Thanks alot for your help.. Great mod.. Are you going to do the no thanks mod too??

When installed these last two versions, this issue was fixed. All I have done, is I assured that the post_thank templates were reverted to default and then updated again.

I installed today's version and I no longer have db errors, but I still don't see the images or anything in the postbit.

Hey TandyServices I had the same issue but if you remove some code from it you can get both to work... I've already removed the code and it now works like a charm here's the updated file.

Hey if you go into AdminCP and look for Post Thanks run all four counters that should do it for you.. Didn't for me but I made the mistake of removing it ages ago by mistake..

Hold on is there a way of getting the old count back in anyway??

2 - the first post showing Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts one time

I just installed the latest version (7.82) on my 4.0 Gold forum and the page refresh issue is still occurring. Any thoughts on how to get around this issue?

Same issue here - no improvement in the page refresh, even with updated JS.

I have noticed that this happens with Standard and Advanced URLs. With the Advanced, a ?p=1234 is added to the URL after the refresh, but that doesn't explain the refresh occurring in the first place.

Update - I'm actually wondering now if the page HAS stopped refreshing but is still jumping back to the top of the page. When I click a Thanks on the first post in a thread, the thanks appears without refresh. Down the page further, the page jumps to the top...perhaps making it look like it's refreshing?

Any way to stop the page from jumping back to the top?

After this upgrade to the 7.82 the blog post are showed before the sended thanks! In the 7.81 this problem not there was!

I've downgrade to 7.81 and all restarted to work.
