I have been messing with IP.Shoutbox myself on one of my forums :)

And a idle timeout will most probably be in the next release along with instant display options :)

This didn't work for me. I did everything, but I do not get the usergroup permissions. I scrolled through the usergroup permissions literally 5 times and couldn't find the options for it. I'm using 4.0 Gold Full Suite :)

for those looking for a shoutbox with smilies and all Inferno vBShout Pro v2.5.2 - vB4 seem to work im not too sure why this isnt on vbulletin.org its a great mod that happends to work great for 4.0 release hrm

Is this a bug? The chat box was working just fine, and now it's stuck with "Loading.."

EDIT:
This chat box conflicts with the plugin: "My Threads & My Posts"

Causing the "Loading...." issue.

For normal messages, you don't need special commands, only for the "additional" features...

Its me or when i enable this mod when i try to log in i get message as guest then when i click a post at the top i show as logged again, when i disable mod all goes right.

It works on my 4 Gold install. However I'd wait for the next release before bothering. Supposed to be good server performance and feature improvements.

This is working on 4.0 Gold. My members are getting the hang of using the BBCode - and enjoying themselves.

I put the chatbox on my home screen... now anyone who is on the main page shows up as using GCBOS instead of "viewing home forum" .... lol

is there a way to speed up process of loading posts? Right now it takes few seconds before page loads and the last shout pops... it can be quite annoying if you set longer shouts history ;)

I have a problem.. In the Site Name / URL / Contact Details in the AdminCP, I've changed the Forum URL from http://xxxx.xxxx.com to xxxx.xxxx.com (without any http or https) so both http and https can be used.. How ever, this breaks the chat box completely with "Loading...." again. Even changing:

Are you receiving error messages? Does the box show? Do you have permissions set properly?
