I?m glad to hear that I?m wrong :)

Although you said that this modification doesn´t influence loading times.

My page generating time increases from about 2,8-3 to 3,4-3,5s (sometimes till 4,7s) and it produces about 1-2 queries...

Is it possible?

Paul M 04-09-2010 01:40 PM

It adds 1 query.

If your pages are taking 3 seconds to generate (before) then you already have an issue - thats an appaling amount of time.

zeroality 04-13-2010 03:40 PM

Would it be possible to make the collapse button optional? None of the other blocks on Who's Online on my forums have it so it looks out of place AND it pushes the content down leaving an unnecessary blank space.

Just modify the time in the plugin code and change the display phrase to say 48 instead of 24. I have mine set to 12.

Nope, but you can always edit the template to remove it.

I get this database error when installing this mod.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Paul M 04-14-2010 03:45 PM

That is unrelated to this mod - you are trying to use the APM modification to install your product but dont have the APM fields in your database. You will get that error whatever mod you try and install.

So what should I do so I don't get this error?

Paul M 04-14-2010 09:01 PM

Stop using APM or install it properly.

chipc0i 04-17-2010 09:00 AM

Juggernaut 04-18-2010 04:32 PM

House M.D. 05-03-2010 01:53 AM

How do I change "Total members that have visited the forum today:" text?

On an older version I was able to modify this in the mysql db (wvt_visited_today).

Now when I change the text there, it still shows the defualt string.

Paul M 05-03-2010 10:09 AM

You should never change it in the database (in any version). Its a phrase, you just create a custom version in the phrase manager.

House M.D. 05-03-2010 04:55 PM

Thank you, that did the trick.

goxy63 05-06-2010 10:44 AM

Instaled nominated and rated, thank you
Without these hacks of yours vb would not be a vb
Cheers

McMendo 05-11-2010 07:35 AM

I uninstalled Members visit tracking and installed this one instead. It is much better, but I'm missing the option to see the IPs of the members who have visited.

Could it be implemented?

Paul M 05-11-2010 10:22 AM

Sorry, thats not available in this, and wont be added.

ZuFett 05-11-2010 05:22 PM

Possible to include Guests?
Like:
Total members that have visited the forum today: 1000 and 100 Gusts

Paul M 05-11-2010 05:41 PM

As it says ;

Quote:

This modification cannot count guests, it is members only.

Bansheebob 05-12-2010 12:53 AM

Installed but total members ever online in one day is off in numbers. How do I reset this? Should be many more members then its saying.

thanks for help.

Paul M 05-12-2010 10:43 AM

How would resetting it help ?

BTW, do remember that this can obviously only count the max since it was installed, its not a time machine. :)

Its showing most users ever online in one day from 2009 when I had the most 2 weeks ago so somethings not quite right agreed?

Paul M 05-12-2010 06:57 PM

Like I just said, it can only count when its actually installed, obviously you didnt have it installed two weeks ago. As for 2009, that could only happen if you had a previous version installed sometime in 2009. Uninstalling or upgrading it doesnt remove any old stored value.

sportsfroma2 05-19-2010 12:53 AM

dammit looks like I messed up somewhere upgrading this from the previous version as I took my site from 4.0.2 to 4.0.3 PL1 :(

any advice? thanks

:D

Walter Ronny 05-19-2010 10:58 PM

Installed, Thanks!

sadiq6210 05-20-2010 10:46 AM

Great ,, Thanks =)

Could you add a new feature in next release to view the number of guests
i.e

Total vistors today: 2 members & 100 vistors

Paul M 05-20-2010 12:14 PM

No, this mod is for members, not guests.

monstermunch 05-27-2010 08:20 AM

I have this installed but it reported the wrong number for the most visited, its says something like 177 March 2009, when I there are times when its 300 or more?

Any Ideas?

yarkken 05-29-2010 12:41 PM

CoronasRGood 05-30-2010 12:40 AM
