Andrew,
is there any plan to implement an option to change the blinds midway through a game?

That'd be perfect so we could set up a Sit N Go Tournament with increasing blinds.

Installed Possible Bugs?

Problem 1:
The Chess and Reversal board color options will not change. When I change a color they just jump back to their defaults. Is this a bug?

Problem 2:
I edited my navbar and added the banner code however the html banner doesn't show and I did add a default message. How can this be fixed please? The flash banner seems to show.

MAJOR PROBLEM 3:
I created a Reversal Game. BUT when another member click on board games my game doesn't list so there is no way for any members to join the game. That break this whole mod system so this mod doesn't work!

I NEED HELP PLEASE AND FIXES!

Well now I changed just the theme color to black and I lost all text. Tried changing the color back and it doesn't want to save. I'll change it and it won't save after I refresh. You should add a save/update settings button. If it's supposed to update on the fly, doesn't seem to save all the time.

This is very buggy, it looks as though it cleared my entire settings. I can't change anything anymore. Nothing saves.

The colour selectors can be weird... I'm having a hard time duplicating this, but I'll work on getting it "stickier"

Same as above.

It saves on the fly, but updates when you leave the admin tab. Might make sense to make the theme colour update on the fly too, to avoid going in and out to see what it looks like.

This MOD does not work! NO WAY! The flash is way broken in VB3.7x!

BUG even though games are being created they do not show in the list of games nor does the flash banner get updated with anything except a huge useless clock!

Its a small problem dont you think when no other members can see the created games so no one can join and no games can start!

Ugggg

Any help please!

I tested this in FF and IE 7 and 8! Not much works except the damn chatroom! LOL Even the sounds dont work right!

So what give please???

UNINSTALLING until a real version that actually works is released! This thing is ALPHA at best and not Beta!

Nice idea so I will watch this and see how this goes...

When you uninstall this virus of a mod make sure you delete all the uploaded files or your site will spit out many database errors! ;)

Relax man... you took the risk of installing a modification that was stated to not being 100% stable yet. You complaining and making a big scene does not make it any better :down:

The mod needs a known bugs section in the description so we don't waste our time. For instance....

Known Bugs:
DOESN'T CURRENTLY WORK! LOL

It will be awesome when it does work but the flash integration here is whacked at best.

all works ok here on 3.7.x

real nice update to the old casino Andrew:up: and will upgrade to the paid version as soon as members kick the funds my way:)

no bugs to report here.... If you need a tester for no limit options I would gladly do that for you:D

Forum acting odd now, not updating my threads that are read, still showing as unread. Reverting back to old gameroom version as this was the only thing I changed. I am running 3.8.3

I want to apologize for my tone of posts....

I just really wish this would work....

and I look forward to a stable release. :)

Lets see I have vbexperience, that popular resizer mod for attached photos, a video system, and a bunch of other mods. The main problem I can see with this is the flash. I have the latest version install of 10x.

It does work just fine on 3.7x:D perhapses you have a conflict issues with something else on your server?

didn't see you ask for any help before you started your troll like slaming of a beta mod:down:

this mod has been about for a long time and has had issues in it's build stage but Andrew always state's it's in beta!!!!(which means he needs help to find error's)

this is sure to be second to the arcade mod soon if not top it.

there will be bugs and issues and As a coder you should know this and only test on a test site:rolleyes:

Well, the thing about modding software is I can't forsee every possible other modification you have installed, sometimes you get conflicts, or your server is set up in a funny way, or all sorts of little funny things that can turn up. Chances are I could help figure out why it isn;t workig on your site, and it is working on many others.

As for your database errors... No kidding, if you leave things active that are trying to access database tables that no longer exist you are going to get errors...

Oh yea with the DEVs help it works very nicely now. It seemed to be a database issue with switch parts on the game on and off.

Not database, internal to the flex app, it thought you had left the game when you hadn't, so it broke communication with the backend, which in turn dropped the game.

The database things you had come up where the result of uninstalling it while it was still "in use". The banner was still on someones page, and it sent a update request back after the product had been removed

- Update cash in solo games and betting on enter & transfer
- Change event listener on colour selectors in settings, makes it stick properly.
- Theme colour updates on the fly when changed, so you can see what things will look like as you adjust it.
- Fixed a glitch in the board games that would bring text into the game chatroom from the Lobby chat room.
- Fixed a bug relating to the board games when other sections had been turned off
- Added payout chart to game screen for Slots, Video Poker & Let it ride
- Border changes with theme color


All the bugs I know of are gone, if you are still having any issues let me know :)

Do I update? Or Do I have this update already?

The boarder doesn't change in mine no matter what I do.

Also, I need the banner game link and WOL links to game to open in a new window so members can be in game and still browse the site.

Can you tell me how to make these changes?

Also, we need the Game Room: Cash to also be included in vbBlogs post bit legacy. I will sort those instructions out and post them here for others who you vbBlog.

In your zip file you have a mis-labeled file: class_main.php~

Do we need to remove the ~ from the end of the filename before we upload?

You also have a duplicate txt file labeled the same weird way. What are these files for?

SUGGESTIONS:
  1. The background color although it does change needs its own setting because most of the color schemes the backgroud doesn't come close to matching. ;) So that background color needs its own selection box please.
  2. We need to have wins / lost games and cash amount in a block on the members profile page please.
  3. When you place a game of say Chess and you win the score is not recorded anywhere? Is that right?
  4. The HTML banner doesn't show even when you add a default saying to the banner default saying?

Just temp files, you can ignore them.

Your flash file downloads about 3kb shy of what it should be, maybe try a different ftp program? Send it via ssh? Something is definitely getting lost going in or coming out of your server.

I think the border is the only thing you don't have with what I sent you. to make your links open in new windows: html banner you can edit the template, flash one isn't as easy
WOL is in the plugin "Gameroom: WOL Display"

I uploaded this new package you attached here to get the border. It still needs its own setting because like I stated most of the colors you pick for the theme the border doesn't match at all.

I will edit the links to make the target="blank" I am using the html banner. The flash one just doesn't match my site at all.

Andrew, how do you edit the text under the Settings tab within the AdminCP? Seems like I can't find them in the language.php file plus is there a branding free version we can purchase?

I modified: Currency to Credits (For vBcredits)
Currency name from $ to Monies, set 0 to all variables which you get creditted for (Dont want it to overwrite vBcredits settings)

Not gonna, lie, right now that language is hard coded.

Although if you are editing language you should probably do it through the "Edit Language" piece, which will save it and not cause you problems when the language file changes (as it will to bring the language in the settings tab into it)

I'm a bit confused...everything installed fine...went to test out hold em and people can join the room but the cards dont show up and nobody can see anything. u dont see anyone sitting in the squares..no avatars, nothing. the game continues to play but the only thing that shows up is the betting box, haha.

what did i do wrong?

Grow up a bit yosume. Plenty of folks have installed and are successfully using the mod. Backstabbing isn't going to provide you with any solutions.
