Well it's been 1 year since last update to this mod and 6 months since developer last commented here promising to have a new version soon. :(
To me that is plenty of time to fix things or get the new version going or to reply and assure people he is still working on the mod. Especially to those of us that have paid him. ;)

allow_furl_open is ON. 777 set on images and cache.

A while back, IMDB disabled remote linking and I'm not even sure they use an API anymore, or use a different one. But this hasn't been working for some time.
