if you are not planning to upgrade this plugins then allow me to do that :)

I'm planning to upgrade it with many features but not for this period so I will allow you to modify it and release it for vb4 if you want to do with one condition:

- you allow me to release it again for vb4 or modify it later if I want. except if you have done more than 70% of new coding .. then I guess you can start it from scratch.

... and there is some bugs in 7.0 hope you can fixed them :)

If you're still using vb3.7/8 don't use chrome with this plugin, there is a javascript bug that affects the ads management portion.

Second, if you're apart of the administrator group but your primary group is different. Replace this to the top of "adsense [algdeer.net] requst".

if ($vbulletin->userinfo['usergroupid']=='6')

with

if (is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo, '6'))

Thanks for the tip. I was just about to ask how to get around this.

In postbit template:
Find: $post[message]

And add this....
Code:

<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT == 'private'">
$ain_adsense[AddID]
</if>

...be sure to substitute in your AddID! Glad your sponsors are getting their money's worth over there! ;)

Thanks Jim...
I had tried that but I believe the postbit is the wrong template. I did get it working on the PM_newpost though.. thanks...

You've got to cache the template/data to display on the page. Private.php doesn't cache all the information necessary to display the ads. You could do this with a manual edit to the private.php file or changing the hook location for the adsense mod.

Alternatively you could just add the html code contained in the template between the conditional statement so that it just calls it directly.

There is a problem with this plugin... it randomly adds fields to my userfield table... Right now I have like 3,000 adsense sharing fields, even with the feature disabled.

I had to comment out the "/* ADD NEW PROFILEFEILD */" block

Hi I've just installed this mod to my forums but I get this error when going to my forums homepage. Does this conflict with any other plug-ins?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/extreme/public_html/forum.php(563) : eval()'d code on line 37

Installed products below.

Ain - Advanced Google AdSense 7.0
GeekyDesigns Default Avatar 2.0.2
Google Adsense Postbit Integration
KeyCAPTCHA 3.6.0
Plus Mood 1.0.2
Separate Sticky and Normal Threads 2.0.0
vBadvanced CMPS 3.2.3
vBSEO :: Sitemap Generator

I tried with the other ad sense product disabled and it's still the same. :confused:

Hi,

is there a way to display ads inside the posts not only in the first post but also in post 2 and 3 instead of the ads between posts.

This would be in ShowThread-page.

Thanks for your help!

ChiNa 08-05-2012 04:05 AM

Good, but dont you think you have used so much time on this great addon, and the attachments looks horrible! Please re upload the attachment images, please!

mykkal 02-27-2015 09:32 PM

Does this plugin have a version for vb 4.2.x?

Gardarika 12-08-2016 09:14 PM

This add-on is acceptable for vB 5?

I can virtually guarantee it is not. :)
