Well, not sure what happened. I had it working on 4.0.8 (I think)... and as of this morning, whenever I try and post a quick reply, I get an error message stating that:
The following errors occurred with your submission
The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters

Well, I have more than 1 character in my replies... but it isn't taking.

I disabled the mod, and it still didn't do anything. Then, I completely uninstalled it... and still nothing. Still getting the same error.

Any ideas???

TO add on to this... I just found out that if I hit the back button after the error... and type into the quick reply box again... it will submit. But it won't submit if I just enter the thread and try and quick reply.

Well, I had to uninstall everything, remove all the files from the server, and upload a clean vbulletin_quick_reply.js file. Everything is back to normal.

I look forward to an update to this for 4.0.8.

my quick reply box has suddenly disappeared after installing this mod, after uninstalling this problem is still around.

Can anyone verify this working on 4.1 PL2 before I install? Sounds like people having issues with it.

I did an upgrade from 4.0.8 to 4.1 PL2

It seem to be working on mine. But I did disable this on user profiles as the "more" link, which brings up the added smile faces... Seemed to be much lower then expected & it didn't look right there (its a little lower else where, but its acceptable ).

+1! 4.0.6 - there is no any attachment button in blog comments :(

I just did a fresh install on 4.1 PL2, and everything appears to be working perfectly with the exception of the smilies row which are all the way to the right and off the page. Image attached.

work like a charm on 4.1.1. all you have to do is open the xml an modify the maxversion from 4.0.99. to 4.1.2 (in my case). thank you for this mod

LE: when clicking an the icon for the smilie menu it shows my the smilies for 2 times each group. like group1 / group2 / group1 / group2. need help

Yeah, I just did the same thing and everything seems to be ok... I am using 4.1 patch2 with no problems so far. I changed the max version to 4.1...

It does not exactly fit well with the custom style on the site I am working on but it should easily fixable..I have set the options to use the style I am using but iut does not seem to be using it..still seems off.. Still a great mod..

The guy is living in Egypt so if you don't know what is going on there then you should watch the news more. That could be why he is unable to update it or may not have time, but I do hope the modification gets updated :p

follow the INSTALLATION PROCEDURE!

I followed the install procedure exactly. I get as far as uploading the xml product, and then the acp tells me this product is not compatible with 4.1.1 (compatible starting with 3.8.0/Incompatible with 4.0.99 and greater).

Should I just modify the "minversion" in the xml?

Setting the maxversion to 4.1.2 worked even though I'm running 4.1.1.

Managed to get this running on vBulletin™ Version 4.1.2 bij changing the dependency line to in product-phpkd_vbaqr.xml

It works on 4.1.12 with the fixes posted, but the quick reply box on the mobile version is messed up with a bunch of smilies and font options

Theoretically you're supposed to be able to choose what styles it affects, but I can only get it to affect all or none at the moment. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Results in quicker page loads & lower server resources (it does not call upon ajax as often as this mod does)

Doesn't have the manage attachments button though, that's the best feature of this mod IMO.

Something is wrong with this mode. It is allowing ajax quick replys only for supermoders. Everybody else dosn't see anything when replying via quick reply. After Refreshing the page you get to see what you have posted...
I will also miss the nice attachment management in advanced quick reply, but I need to unisntall too...
