I don't why the ZIP is missing definitions, but I'll try uploading it again. Here's the YouKu deifnition for videos in the meantime.

OMG Thank you very much, you're great at this. Keep up the good work. :D

I believe some videos will work while other's wont, depending on GameTrailer's embed code. I'm not sure, but it's something I'll be looking closer at during the next update.

It probably says it's was updated because I reuploaded the ZIP file. Somehow, it was missing definitions.

You and all your users have the option of turning the modification off for each post. It's located underneath the text editor.

testebr 08-12-2008 09:32 PM

Cool, now I understand.

But, I would to like mix the player with regular links. Good feature to next version (if will be).

mykkal 08-13-2008 04:05 AM

This would be great? They have collections of entire seasons of HOT & Good espisodes on television series.

I just finished watching the unit.

Can someone make an XML or a parser for this site so I can just post a link on my forum?

That would be so hot. Probably make AME a more valuable tool as well!

Hi digital_jeti

Today I want request support for more one Brazilian website.

Portal www.globo.com from the most popular Brazilian television company and 3? bigger of the world.

If you watch the video in this news article http://video.globo.com/Videos/Player...ESPOSA,00.html and wait the end + forced advertisement, will see the embed code. Videos like it you can find in many other domains of Globo portal.

It can seem complicated, but I believe that is simple.

Thank you.

SBlueman 08-14-2008 06:12 AM

It's saying this modification was updated August 10th....what were the updates?

Digital Jedi 08-14-2008 06:19 AM

Are you subscribed to the automatic updates? I periodically make changes to the main post, correcting errors I may have made in spelling, moving answers to commonly asked questions to a more prominent position, (I'm a formatting freak, I admit) and sometimes I have to update the No-Fly list. Automatic updates, I believe, make note of that.

Also, there appeared to be some missing definitions during my last update to the Main ZIP, so I reuploaded it the other day. That probably triggered an update message. I will always send a personal update notification via email when I do a genuine update and I'll include a post with the new XML files.

SBlueman 08-14-2008 08:19 AM

Ah ok. Yes I am subscribed to the automatic updates.

SBlueman 08-14-2008 08:34 AM

BTW....any updates on the ESPN.com issues?

MasterofWorlds 08-14-2008 12:09 PM

what about adding Foamy videos from http://www.illwillpress.com/
Thanks

Did you update the master .XML or it was just the addition of a few missing .xml definitions in the main .zip?

Thank you!

Digital Jedi 08-15-2008 05:49 PM

Just a few missing definitions in the ZIP.

MonkYZ 08-16-2008 10:14 PM

Maybe somebody from here knows what do i need to modify in code so that YouTube player will also have the "fullscreen" button available ?

MadK 08-17-2008 06:17 PM

Hey Digital Jedi, thanks for the answer. I thought I'd recommend adding Xfire Videos!

Thank you!

This feature is only available in youtube website.

MonkYZ 08-19-2008 12:23 AM

Digital Jedi, is there an easier way to update all the xml definitions ? I mean, when i try to update, i have to delete each one... manually... otherwise they'll duplicate and make a mess.

Thx in advance !

The simplest way is to just delete the definitions I've updated. Out of all the updates I've done, there have never been more then five definitions that needed replacing, and the last update had 25 new ones, which is very unusual for me, as I generally only do around 5-7 at a time. There's no need to replace all 155 definitions just to add a handful of updates. Just delete the updated ones, and add the new ones. The Master XML file is for people who are just starting out, or having to start over.

SNATCH3R 08-19-2008 06:59 AM

Hi, I just installed this....tested with few of video URLs and works like charm....

I got a query...is there any possiblity of having zshare video embedded...rather than showing the download link in the forum.....

It would be much appreciable if you can give me some ideas on this...

:)

Jaxel 08-19-2008 08:27 AM

I have added a DAILYMOTION PLAYLIST code...

Code:

http://www\.dailymotion\.com/playlist/([\w-]+)
Code:

<iframe id="dm_jukebox_iframe" style="overflow:hidden; margin:0; padding:0; width: 700px; height: 350px;" width="700" align="center" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/widget/jukebox?list[]=%2Fplaylist%2F$p1"></iframe>

Also, the 1UP/GameVideos RegEx code is outdated... here is an updated code...

Code:

http://[www\.gamevideos\.com|gamevideos\.1up\.com]+/video/id/([\d]+)

Was that recently, because I think they block that option now.

Jaxel 08-21-2008 06:06 AM

I have added an ESCAPIST MAGAZINE code... work with Zero Punctuation too!

Code:

http://www\.escapistmagazine\.com/videos/view/([\w-]+)/([\d]+)-([\w-]+)
Code:

<embed src="http://static.escapistmagazine.com/media/global/movies/player/FlowPlayerDark.swf?config=%7Bembedded:true,playList:[+%7B+'url':$p2,'linkUrl':'http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/$p1/$p2-$p3','linkWindow':'_top','name':'$p3'+%7D+],splashImageFile:'http://www.escapistmagazine.com/global/castfire/splash/$p2.jpg',showVolumeSlider:true,initialScale:'fit',loop:false,autoPlay:false,autoBuffering:false,usePlayOverlay:false,autoRewind:true,bufferLength:15,menuItems:[false,false,false,false,true,true]%7D" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" quality="high" bgcolor="#333333" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer" height="328" width="400"></embed>

Hi all,

I just wanted to post a quick note saying that I've added fullscreen support
to the YouTube embedded player.

In order to use this feature with your API applications you'll need to make
some slight modifications to your existing embed code.

First you'll need to add the allowfullscreen=true parameter and attribute to
your object/embed tags - for an example of this you can head to any video
page on YouTube and grab the embed code to see what this looks like - here's
an example with the new code highlighted in yellow:

<object width="425" height="344">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YLDbGqJ2KYk&hl=en*
&fs=1*&color1=0x2b405b&color2=0x6b8ab6"></param>
*<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param>*
<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YLDbGqJ2KYk&hl=en*&fs=1*&color1=0x2b405b&col..."
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" *allowfullscreen="true" *width="425"
height="344"></embed>
</object>

You'll also need to add a new player parameter to the player url (or as a
flashvar) called 'fs' and set it to '1' (I've highlighted this new param in
pink in the example above).

Please try it out and let me know how you like it or if you have any issues.

Btw, as i see more and more videos shared on Viddler, is it possible to add this in defintions too ?

For example: http://www.viddler.com/explore/X3F-TV/videos/68/

Cant do Viddler... the information needed for that video would be "a95e36ad", which is not extractable from the URL.

I tired viddler a while back and I believe I ran into just that problem. But I know more now then I did then, so maybe I can take a look at it again as I have been able to knock off quite a few sites from my original no-fly list (Who am I kidding, more sites changed their embed code then I learned anything). It is due for a review, so maybe I'll get lucky.

Digital Jedi 08-22-2008 11:15 AM

I just realized, I have a definition for Viddler already. It just need updating.

Looks like this just happens to be one of the URLs not converting. I'll have a fix for the next update.

AndyA 08-22-2008 02:22 PM

A long shot but is it possible to have Photosynth images showing within threads in a similar way to the videos etc ? I'd like to embed just the images as shown within the black portion of the screen.

Great to hear that ! I can hardly wait for the next update ! Thx a lot Digital Jedi !

P.S. Could be possibile some kind of unification, so we have extra options in AME... something like a box where we should write window size and apply to all known websites ? Or maybe some global options for centering or aligning ? :)

Digital Jedi 08-23-2008 04:15 AM

UDPATES!
As always, updates are included in the Main ZIP file and the Master XML.

I'll try not deluge you with details this time around. But I did make a notation or two that you need to know.

Three important things:

1. Thanks to Jaxel for the new Daily Motion (Playlists) code (as well as The Escapist and an updated GameVideos). I tweaked that and the regular Daily Motion regular expressions so that you no longer need the Daily Motion US and Daily Motion Alice definitions. NUKE those install the new one.

Oh, Daily Motion should embed EVERYTHING now. Let me know if it doesn't.

2. GameSpot's Age Verification error is an internal problem and not related to the modification. I've requested they look into it, which they've said they've informed their technicians of. I encourage you to contact them as well.

3. CNN finally provided embed code. But, of course, you'll need the unique permalink to post a video. Good luck with that. :p (I also pointed this out to CNN tech support)

Other then that, have fun.

CNN New
Daily Motion Updated (Replaces Daily Motion US and Daily Motion Alice)
Daily Motion (Playlists) New

I just love small upload limits...

I've made a set of JibJab definitions for everything including Jokes, Originals, Sendables from your JibJab control panel and Sendables you've actually received from other people.

MSNBC should now allow embedability for videos pulled from specific MSNBC sub-domains, such as Countdown with Keith Olbermen or The Scoop.

Guitar-Tube will load a video on a new page, but you won't see a video when you first post it or do any AJAX editing. Durn javascript.
