Ok, I'm gonna install a style and see what happens.

UPDATE: Edit WYSIWYG editor is now working.

rooban: The issue is figured out. LOL The problem is that you have all 3 columns showing, if you edit the settings and change the width settings for NMAPS, then it should be fine. I can still see the bluish backgroun but because of the width options it doesn't show much of the background.

dodgeuk: How do you mean avatars not working? Give me full details so I can check on things. Avatars only work if you have selected an avatar from your gallery on the site.

Hmmm, do you have the editor enabled, full editor enabled? Without the full editor enabled you will get a page like that.

Some suggestions for future versions:
1. it will be nice to have a link to all news/articles in the member module (visible to all and opening in a separate page just like each category link),
2. a list of all authors/reporters in the member module opening in a separate page as well
OR a "...more reporters" at the bottom of the "Meet your reporters" module, and
3. search by ... reporter/news/date/etc.



It enables the reader to jump straight to any reporter or news without manually searching for it if the forum has a large number of reporters and/or news.

Trying to publish article but can't see the editor. How do you enable the editor?

Thank you Steve ! That was the one i didn't turn on. I guess this need to state in install readme.

ade: You have to turn on full editor and go back manage product and reimport the product again with allow overwrite to Yes and it will show the editor , if you are not reimport it won't show the editor event turn the editor to full.

Thanks lazee, I had my full editor on and enabled already. I just re-imported the product again (overwrite to Yes) and it now works.

The version that is gold is the same version that was released before it went gold and everyone upgraded to so I can honestly say yes it works. Give it a try, if it works then click install.

I'm installing this mod, but there is a question i want to ask.

In the readme file, it says : 9. Deleted nmaps_install.php from your admincp directory.

but this is required for the uninstall process ? Pls help me because i'm little bit confused on this :confused:

Or maybe i can delete, then when i want to uninstall, i just re-upload the file to admincp directory ?

also, when i want to add image for each categories, just put the image on \images\nmaps\category folder ?

me too. (using 3.7.2)

But I did this to re-enable it :

1. If you have delete the file nmaps_install.php in your forum root\admincp then re-upload again to the same folder
2. Go to http://yourforum/admincp/nmaps_install.php and do the uninstall process
3. After uninstall succeded with no errors, then re-install from plugin/import product (i chose to allow overwrite)
4. Then go to set no 2 above and follow instruction to install.
5. If succeded, then it will give you the configuration setting for nmaps
6. Set in the usergroups for allowing which usergroup to be able to see nmaps
7. Follow the rest of readme file

EDIT: Quick answer for those getting a blank page, make sure you reimported the product xml file and make sure you ran the upgrade script. Blank pages means a few things but the main is templates missing or being blank.

iPodHacking.com: You need to make sure you have nmaps.php in the same directory as your forum root, if you want to run it as your index page then I need to know, I will add a few new settings to help with that and give peeps a chance to put it as their index.

I disabled a module and it disappeared. How do I add it back???

joeycano: How did you disable it? Disappeared from your admincp module section?

I did the following, in this order:

- ACP
- NMAPS
- Manage Modules
- I moved the items in the left category to the right category
- selected the drop down on Lead Reporter
- Select "disable"

And then it disappeared.

Ok that sounds like a bug. I will have that fixed by tomorrow.
