you need to update your usergroup permissions for each usergroup u use.

edit it and on the bottom you will find all settings. its disabled by default so u need to edit it manually for each usergroup.

You didn't give yourself permissions. ACP>Usergroups>Administrator>Check everything under vbtube permissions>Save

He already has that if you are a pro subscriber. It's the vbadvanced cmps "recent media" block.

All in the pro version. Plus a couple developers using this mod have been adding some other cool little easter eggs to the existing script as s7v7n continues to develop new versions. This is by far and away one the best gems available.

Is there any way to block on of the sites that this modification supports? Eg. break.com?

I run a site that children have easy access too and do not want any possibility of somebody adding a video that is inappropriate.

Definitely makes sense, but the script doesn't support Break.com. You can also setup usergroups for trusted users for adding and not allow others.

break.com is just an example. Lets say I do not want any youtube.com videos on my site. I would love to have something in the ACP that lists all the supported sites with checkboxes next to each one and allows me to uncheck the ones I do not want videos from. It would also be nice to display what sites are supported on the "upload media" page.

I want it to be an open system where everybody can add videos, but whenever you get into that kind of thing, you are subject to ppl uploading crap.

Unfortunately, there isn't an ACP option to check off. If you'd want to make sure specific sites don't get added and there is absolutely no possibility. You'd have to edit out those sites from a couple of the function files. After that, you'd have to do it each time you'd upgrade as well.

Looking through the pages, but haven't found. It would be nice to have Report Video that would lets us know when a video is broken or inappropriate. This little enhanced could go under mod for easy access to.

This is already part of the script on the "show_tube" page in the bottom right corner of the viewing window. Completely automated.

Porn is porn what's the difference? Pornotube and redtube both have clear video. Megarotic uses a differently coded url definition. Besides, there are ways to make it work. If you purchase the product there is a code section on the vbyes site which current user/owners add their own hacks just like vbulletin.org. Megarotic is one of them:)

Not true, how so do you make this inference? He's coding to make this better everyday and takes all customer requests and then asks the customers what they want to see in future releases. So far he's added everything we've wanted. Why you say such not nice things?

There was a video link that has been removed "like veoh", when I tried to go replaced with another link. It doesn't show the url with the video, but the url of the thumbnail. Do I need to keep deleting and adding it over again?

There is a mod to transition from lite to Pro.

Delete the clip altogether and do a new clip, or remove both the video link and the jpg link created. Then replace with the new video link.

Okay guys you got a real live one here..i own a site, got my license..looking to add some add-ons and i dont know squat. I tried adding the tablefix and usergroup files to teh root folder then deleteing them. This has not corrected my DB error.

This is a planned implementation. Beta 4 is currently in live testing by a few customers. I'm not particularly sure if this is part of the new features, however I do know the developer had planned on implementing prior to this upcoming release. You might want to register @ his site and post that question.

did you chmod 777 all of the specific files?

Everything is definitely installable by a beginner if you follow step by step instructions. However, if you are just getting acclimated with the forum script. I would hold off, unless you purchase new. The developer will install for you with your purchase.
