I have another issue with this mod but I understand that this may be more difficult to fix, anyways I write it here just to see if somebody has an advice or a workaround...
I've imported the message base of my old forum (based on phpBB2) into vBulletin. The old forum used to have a dedicated bbcode to embed YouTube videos, so the old posts would look like this:

nope, this mod is coded to embed [youtube]VIDEOID[/youtube] not [youtube]VIDEOURL[/youtube], you could change it yourself but i cant add what your asking to this mod, because this mod also supports video urls from inlineVid which is a different hack and this is the upgrade.

Also remember you are not supposed to try to install the bitfield XML file as a product, your supposed to upload it... I'm not sure why no one knows this, basically you can install the product and drag the includes folder into your vBulletin directory (via ftp) and it should work fine.

Love the hack but I'm having issues with video.google.ca videos working. I added ca to the plugin but then it just shows the player but doesn't play.

This is a Chinese based website very similar to Youtube.

I haven't got a clue what they are talking about, but some of the videos posted are classics!

I tried it with youTube but when I click on it in the post it says this video no longer available. I can play the video at YouTube though.

Youtube videos are working on my site and I just installed last night. Just the Google Canada ones aren't working for me so far.

Edit: Google.com videos aren't working either. I reimported the xml product file to return it to it's original state but all that shows is the player with a black screen.

How about Support for http://mojiti.com/. I got a new post with this which apparently takes the video from another site and you can add your own notations and "bubbles" to it.

vidmax isnt working when i enter the link its just blanco
So i cant even enter just an url or it will disapear

I installed this mod. But, what happened is the URL of the link seems to "bleed over" to the sigline of the person who posted the video! But it's only happening on the original post and not any other post. So, if you click on the the sigline then the video - in this case YouTube - is linked to the YouTube site and the site opens.

not sure why that would happen... I cant help if you don't post the exact link you used.

also you can un-check the vidmax check box in your usercp settings.

You have provided no screenshot or link... To fix an issue like this i need to know the exact link you used and optionally you could provide a screenshot to aid other members and me.

This mod no longer works since I upgraded to Patch Level II and VBSEO 3.1. I turned VBSEO off and it still did not work. What else can I try?

sorry about that, seems that i forgot to add the optional www for vidmax, you can remove the WWW. in the url and it should work.
