- Fixed a bug with the embed. Doh! :erm:

If you want your old tags to work without an edit just add the anymedia.js to your anymedia template or your "headinclude" template. I took this out and changed the way its embed because of this. If you had 10 post with video on a page it would call the .js file 10 times. It will also play nice with quick reply and preview now.

Again, dailymotion changed the way it embeds. I'll look for a fix. Photobucket will be spotty. If you find a link that doesn't work let me know. Also, putfile I can't find a embed example for their now flash videos. So if someone finds one let me know.

As you can see the biggest hurdle sometimes is trying to get these sites who think their way is the best to work. Why can't they all just be simple like youtube :)

Upgraded to 3.0.9.1 ... It seems that Photobucket is not working ... in FireFox it displays the Flash Player and it says "click to play" but when you click it it styas in the "loading ..." screen and does nothing ... In IE it doesn't show the player at all, just the box with the title of the player and title of the video ... Unless maybe I'm using the incorrect like for PhotoBucket, I used http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e5...t=MOV00857.flv

Anyways, in addition to that, when you click on "edit" to edit a post that has a [media] tag it deletes it from the post after you save. If you try to re-edit it and re-add the code it wont do it. It's really buggy this time. After I saw theis bug, I tried refreshing the page and got the following:

i can't reproduce that error. I've done the same thing as you from what I can tell.

Are you trying this in the quick edit? Photobucket is still in beta for now. Everything else should work.

Oh yeah my fault its quick edit ... That's when the error occurs ... Also, what's the correct link for PhotoBucket that I should place inside the [media] tags?

I believe the download link is not working (not shown) even though it was set to yes and with appropriate usergroup permission ..

I was just using the url in the address bar. I'll look to adding that url you where trying to use.

I changed it from saying Download here to have the title of the video. You don't see that?

Looks like I can.

OMG! The version 3.0.9.1 is broken, I just instaled today and on click to preview post (with video tag inside) the board show an blank page.

Now I just removed and instaled back the version 3.0.8.

Can you confirm if its a bug?

1) Install any bbcode like [center]media_tag_here[/center] and add video with this new bb. Or just edit anymedia template and insert center html code by yourself. Exemple <div align="center"> ALL CODE FROM TEMPLATE HERE </div>.

2) Go to anymedia admincp options and check the option Show the download link?

3) Go to anymedia admincp options and check the option Default Media Object Width and Default Media Object Height.

About my problem, the version 3.0.9.1 dont work with my host (linux).

In windows (localhost) here my test work fine.

And nix, can you fix the problem with accentuated chars in movie titles? Try get an movie from br.youtube.com and test for you see the problem.

First I want to say thank you so much for making this hack and it is very powerful.

Here is my problem and I appreciate any hints or advice if anybody has one: I installed 3.0.9.1 on my VB 3.6.7 PL1 and got to get Youtube video to work perfectly. However, when I tested other videos, here what I got:

For myspace : I got Error - Unsuport media type error. I did select yes for myspace.
For photobucket: I got a frozen leading. Again I did select yes for photobucket

It seems like only youtube works so far. Again I appreciate any hints I can get.

Thanks for everyone being so patient. I had some paid work to get done but I'm just about done with it. I have most of the problems people have posted fixed but there might be some left over bugs in there.

I should have a new version out today or tomorrow. I also have something in mind for version 3.1. I think all of you will like it.

- I reverted the AnyMedia Template
- Reload files
- Uninstalled old version and clean stuff

If you read the release notes I said dailymotion isn't working. Youtube is working fine though. What link are you using and whats the error you're receiving?
