I did a couple searches of this thread (not read it all but searches :P), I've installed ispy and would like to have the shoutbox on that page too. Though it's just a php file, no template, is this possible?

This way people can shout and see new threads/posts without the shoutbox getting spammed.

Thats what I thought. I will be grabbing the pro version now that I see its available. I'm assuming that I can alter the timeout to keep it continuously active or am I going to have to modify the code?

Nevermind, I see that it's possible it will attempt to be made compatible with vbadvanced. I don't want a shoutbox anywhere except in a column on vbadvanced. I'll watch hoping for this ability.

i have installed ajax shout 2.0 but not cool feaTures like this one and some bugs like cant shout " , & etc.

But, to my knowledge the prune, and ban are included - Just got to read.

Just type '/prune' and hit enter and it clears the shout box. It's that simple.

it changes all your posts because thats a feature.

When you change your font/colour it is your new font/colour. The options are there for you, not for each individual shout :)

Unfortunatly you cant change the colour for each individual shout unless you type this into the shoutbox each time.... [ color=HEXCODE]SHOUT[/color] changing HEXCODE to the hexidecimal colour code that you was and changing SHOUT to your shout.
As for deleting shouts individually, i believe you can in the archive or just double clicking theshout and pressing delete.

you can edit and delete individual posts just by clicking next to the shout and you will be able to instantly edit or delete the shout.

Are you sure that the path is correct? if not you will need to go and change that

apparently this only occurs in firefox, because i'm on IE and the hack appears properly and there are linebreaks/character wraps could this be the issue here, maybe a bit of coding needs to be altered to wrap in FF? anyone else having this occur. sorry if it's been posted i searched firefox in the search this mod field only showed 4 posts and nothing relative to what seems to be occuring for the admin on the site i was helping out.

Just waiting for compatability with vBAdvanced before comtemplating purchasing the pro version.........

Hmm it does seem like it could be a line wrap issue, we will look into is asap and let you know when we have made a fix

My members would really like to have it in a separate window next to the browser ...

So they allways can see what's happening.

Only the shoutbox part in the separate window.

not a bad idea ^^ basically the click on a buton on the shoutbox (top right hand corner) and then the shoutbox pops up, so they can alway view the shoutbox. nice idea ^^

Also, when someone create's a thread or reply to a thread, can the automated post on the shoutbox be turned into a URL? It would be great for the people in the shoutbox to click the thread that has been created or been posted.
