We have installed the plugin for a few days, in the right side of the forum, meaning that it would be triggered on every pageload.

That we believe created a tremendous server load on the database server, forcing us to remove the plugin.

Has anybody else experienced something like this ?

This should only be triggered on the forum index unless you modified it, it also says that you have not even downloaded this mod, so not sure where you are getting that.

Version 2.4 displays the posts of the same subject and not just one as before.
is a bug?

The only thing changed in 2.4 was the fix to the XSS.

Well that looks like a character issue. Does it happen alot or how is that different from the language in the post below and above?

Thanks for sharing this very useful plugin Michael.

One simple thing that I think would make this perfect would be (as a poster a page ago said) if the latest threads were not duplicated. As of now if the last 5 replies on my board are in the same thread the latest posts on the front page looks really silly as all the same thread. If you could filter out the duplicates this would be stellar.

I had installed version 1.0 and it worked like a charme. But after a complete new installation I had to use the latest version now and I have to say that I´m not very happy with it anymore.

Isnt it possible to add options in the acp for this hack for:
a) include forums
(I´ve more forums to exclude then to include)
b) follow usergroup permissions yes/no
(if you want to use the hack as kind of teaser, it´s required that users can see the posts but cant enter them. In version 1.0 it works)

I know this is a real simple addition, but for the life of me it doesn't work! It shows the table and thead, but the tbody ($latest_post_bits) is empty! Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

This is one of my favorite mods and I am attempting to use it to pull RSS feed titles from one of my hidden forums. I'm thinking this could be done easily but I'd rather put in the admin the forum ID# from the forum I want to use instead of the multiple forums I want to exclude. Can this be done?

Also, I wanted to eliminate both the forum and author columns and just have the titles from the feed and the source (if possible).

Maybe there is another mod out there that does this so I can continue to use this one as designed as well. Anyone know of one? Thanks.
