Good job Cyber, will upgrade to next version.
Thanks again. |
Any other problems?
|

|
ok, sry. now its working :)
|
Thanks for updating
Upgraded, everything work Thanks again |
Hmmm. I updated and reset acceptance status in my dev forum. Now if I have the View Forums option set to YES when accepting the rules, the screen reloads and takes me right back to the rules acceptance screen. It's in a loop, no way out if the rules have not been accepted yet. I uninstalled, reinstalled and still no different. I'm on VB 3.6.4, MY SQL 5.0.16 and PHP 5.2. Any suggestions?

I just installed it on my site: school-forum.net but where is it located on my site? What is the URL?

m8 is it possible to make it automatically run the rules page to all all users who visit (by ip) and have an accept / decline button if they accept there ip is stored and it check next time they visit to see if they have accepted it and if they have it wont load but if they decline it it automatically redirects there to a set address and keeps showing every time they revisit urgently needed m8 :P
|
I nstalled this and when I went and erased the rules you had and replaced it with "the rules are being rewritten" It showed all the smiles and how to make them. I'm going to try and place my rules and see if it fixes it.

Cyber, did you noticed our Problem ?
The Button Timer still doesnt change Deinstalled and Reinstalled, also the same Error. Error msg in FireFox 2 Error Console: cyb_button_countdown is not defined Also it says: Unterminated String literal: alert(".... |
What is the difference between this mod and Mr_Snob's "Advanced Rules and User Agreement hack" found here?
|
Is it possible to only display the rules when entering a specific forum?
|
Varname $vbphrase[cybfrules_rules]
Text <font color="#66ff00">Forum Rules</font> You change the color of the navbar here  :erm: #66ff00 is the greeny color |
When I install the product, without making any of the optional changes that are in the instructions, there's a link installed in my Quick Links that is both off to the side and the wrong color. How would I remedy this? I'd like it to just be in line with the rest of the links I have in the dropdown menu.
(I'd include a printscreen right now, but there's no photo editor on my work computer. If need be, I can post one when I get home in the morning.) Edit: I hadn't looked at the admin options before. My apologies. Very nice mod. |
thanks for this...very useful....install ;)

Nice hack m8 :) I have been looking for something like this for awhile now. ..::Installed::..

Hello,
looks like the mod does not work correctly with vB 3.6.6. You can still infract user, but they receive a PM with the text 'Could not find phrase 'warning_received_post''. Any references? regards thorsten |

You can ask vBulletin why that happened. You can add this phrase manually if you wish: Email Body Text Phrases warning_received_post PHP Code:
|
Sorry! I'm totally wrong. It's a matter of the vBulletin build-in infraction system.
regards thorsten |
ive upgraded to 3.6.6 but it seems upon registration the advanced forum rules do not show up but the default vbulletin rules page shows up....however, advanced rules kicks in when trying to post....
how can i fix this???? |

Hi,
I've the problem that I'm using a portal system where I have an overview of my forums, like a little Index. vBSeo rewrites the links in that index like this: HTML Code:
http://www.portugalforum.de/rechtliche-fragen-rund-um-portugal/ Google tried to use this links and now in the search index the're a lot of "...please accept the rules ..." entries to my page ... Any ideas? Kai |
Hallo? nobody there?

Link to Rules page only gets added in forumhome page. It does not get added to vbCMPS navbar automatically. How to add it to navbar of vbCMPS navbar also?
|
ok - so when I go to the demo it takes me to a page full of smilies...when I install on my forum, it does the same thing...what gives?
|
Seems to do that if you turn it off.
Great mod cheers! |
Any problems with it on 3.6.7PL1?
