I just reinstalled with the updated version and still get this error when donating an item.

Code:

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.3:

@ three, you are saying that the items themselves are not showing ? or the images?

@pope, man your having lots of problems, what version of vbulletin are you running?

Yeah, it's been challenging! LOL!! I'm on 3.6.4. BTW, iCash and iBank both had the text files, but I just checked the iShop one again, and it's missing, but it's ok, I've got everything going, and very well, at that!!

Couple questions...any idea why my inventory images don't show in my postbit legacy? And is there any way we can add this info to a user's profile page?

Thank you, Blaine, for these three wonderful systems!!

Thank you, Lisa, for asking this...I just found this awesome feature with your help!! :D

And, Blaine, DITTO on Lisa's last statement...thank you for dealing with me!!:o

Blaine0002 04-02-2007 03:36 PM

are you sure you applied the template change to the LEGACY template?

deezelpope 04-02-2007 04:05 PM

Yes...I edited postbit_legacy first, and only the inventory legend shows, so then I also edited the postbit, but it didn't make any difference.

Blaine, it seems to work fine :) No red cross in the forum or in the admin area...the images won't show in the admin area, but they're not supposed to are they?

I have red x's in the admin area on my site, but they show on the board, so I don't really care LOL

Blaine0002 04-02-2007 07:59 PM

Ah, i probably tried implimenting that long ago, but since i am using firefox it dosent show any error images. I guess i forgot about it completely.. haha :)

redtaz 04-04-2007 03:00 AM

So which money shop is best for this store? ICash or Nexia's POINTS system?

Blaine0002 04-04-2007 03:41 AM

Either works just fine, it all depends on what you want to do, research each one individually.. and if you use icash, thanks :)

deezelpope 04-04-2007 03:54 PM

Well, Blaine, I know why the images weren't showing...needed that plugins folder with the inventory.php after all. They're showing in postbit_legacy now!!:D

MaK10 04-04-2007 04:36 PM

Is there a way for the admin to see what users made a purchase and what they purchased?

Ok, here's how to add to your profile...create a new plugin...

AdminCP>Plugins and Products>Add New Plugin>ISHOP>

Product: iShop
Hook location: Member profile's>Member_complete
Title: Inventory images in Profile
Execution order: 5

Plugin PHP Code:
PHP Code:

global $db;
include(
'./plugins/inventory.php');

Plugin is active: Yes

Save!

redtaz 04-04-2007 11:01 PM

Is there anyway to interogate this wish the v3Arcade?

Blaine0002 04-05-2007 02:12 AM

deezel, that code is obsolete as inventory.php is not included in the zip anymore.

tehPARADOX 04-05-2007 08:46 AM

1 request, an if condition to only show item inventory pane only if they have items.

Ok, but that code and php are what got my images to show in legacy and profile.

Blaine0002 04-05-2007 02:03 PM

try replacing it with the code provided in the updated plugin, if that dosent work i will investigate.

deezelpope 04-05-2007 02:16 PM

I have the updated version installed already...was fooling around to see what would happen if I uploaded the deleted "obsolete" php, and lo and behold, my images show now!

ktutorials 04-05-2007 02:37 PM

where can we get cool item packs... like firefox, IE, google images

deezelpope 04-05-2007 02:38 PM

If you don't like the ones Blaine has provided, you can either make them yourself, or search the web.:)

dai-kun 04-05-2007 08:55 PM

have we got this to be little queries yet? Also, some items cannot be donated as it says members do not own them when they really do.

Thanks!

MissKalunji 04-05-2007 09:12 PM

Not yet...

aranthorn 04-07-2007 02:15 AM

Great Mod, thanks a ton.

I only post this next bit for your development info...

I am occasionally getting this error:

Hi,

After the demise of vbPlaza I am searching for a decent replacement. I have noticed that this mod is now compatible with Nexia's Points System, and I have a few questions.

1) Are there any other options besides the images? And if so, what are they?
2) Can users give images to other people besides themselves?
3) I see people can donate, that's good. But is this donate feature prone to the security issues vbPlaza is now plagued with?
4) How exactly does the stock item work?
5) About the Images: Can you create multiple purchase-able items for these item types? Like, say if I wanted to release a special item for Easter. Could I do so (but not have it part of the main item) and them remove it so it is no longer available for purchase?
6) Is this mod compatible with iBank?
7) (Forgot to ask this) Does this mod work in vB 3.6.x?

Thanks,

-Skip

I didn't create these originally, but I have them installed on my forum and working with iShop. A set of 27 Awareness Ribbons. Istructions are in the zip file.

Here's what I know for sure:
2- Yes, they simply purchase the image then donate to someone else.
5- You could create a new category then delete it later.
7- Yes, definately. I have it running on my installation.

In response to number 5 - Wouldn't deleting the category cause the image to go dead?

Not sure... in theory it should still load. The other way around it is to set the stock qty to 0 so that it cannot be bought anymore.

SkippySkippy 04-07-2007 07:56 PM

Okay, I've installed this modification on my site. However, there's a serious problem... all of the images are dead and appear as red x's. When I try to add new ones, I get red x's. What am I doing wrong?

-Skip

deezelpope 04-07-2007 08:11 PM

Hey Skip! Are they red x's on the board too? Or just in AdminCP?

aranthorn 04-08-2007 12:18 AM

I didn't use the canned images, I added my own and they worked fine. I wrote instructions for the ribbon set here inside the zip file, but you can use those instructions to add any items you like.

Well, it did that in the Admin CP and in the store itself... for obvious reasons I didn't try it in the posbit.

It has that issue in the admincp but displays fine in postbit.

vPlaza has these, plus, I've seen them here at this site...
http://mazeguy.net/ribbons.html

It's awful nice of you to put these together in a file with the descriptions, Aranthorn, I can't thank you enough! I'm gonna install these pronto...thanks again!

bogie 04-09-2007 11:21 PM

I just installed this mod and would like to have a link on each member's post (postbit area) to view their inventory instead of images showing up in the postbit area (which btw it isnt working anyways for me on 3.6.5). Anyone know how to do this. I wrote my own code but its displaying my own inventory instead of theirs:

Code:

<a href="ishop.php?$do=ViewMember=$post[userid]"]">View Inventory</a>

bogie 04-09-2007 11:48 PM

Figured it out myself. If you want to add a "view inventory" link to your postbit to view that member's inventory, here is the code:

Find:
Code:

<a href="donate.php?$session[sessionurl]to=$post[username]">Donate</a><br>
Add After:
Code:

<a href="ishop.php?$session[sessionurl]do=ViewMember&id=$post[userid]">View Inventory</a>

bogie 04-10-2007 12:02 AM

Another question, how can I sort items in the store by their name instead of when I added them. Would make it a lot easier to find things.

|Jordan| 04-11-2007 12:20 AM

Does this hack have similar items like uShop (bold username, italic, etc.) ?
