In my admincp:
Date cutoff: This is useful for referral contests. Any referrers or referrals that joined before this date will be excluded from the Statistics. The date must be entered in format DD-MM-YYYY. If you set it to 0 it will display all results. I'm in Europe where we put the date at DD-MM-YYYY so if I enter 13-08-2006 then I get a totally blank page when viewing /forums/referrers.php - to fix the blank page problem you have to input the date as MM-DD-YYYY but then it's showing as no referalls having been made since 13th August 2006 when in fact the latest referral was this afternoon. |
I've got that same bug. I think it might have to do with version 3.6.0 ?
|
This is happening in 3.5.3 with latest security patches applied.

doesnt work in 3.6.0 blank page

Thanks for the verification! I will now try to install it with 3.6.2 and verify here if it works or not. |
I was the first one to install this hack for 3.5 and 3.6 as well so it should work fine on all versions. :p

Im getting these errors any ideas?
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /referrers.php on line 96 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /referrers.php on line 103 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /referrers.php on line 117 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /referrers.php on line 124 Im using 3.6 |
I am on 3.6.2 and it works great except.....
When you want to use the cut off date feature, when it is set to 0, it works fine...the members with referrals show up. When you put the date in the format specified, I get this: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /referrers.php on line 163 Warning: arsort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /referrers.php on line 173 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /referrers.php on line 174 |
is there new feature how many clicks or hits comes from the user refrrer?

Hello Everyone and Michelle,
Michelle, I really love your mod, but there is one slight problem when trying to create an effective contest and implementing it. What I am trying to do is create a contest for all my users to be rewarded for the most referrals in a given month. I would like them to be able to see their standing on your "Referrer Statistics" mod. However when you set the cutoff date to just show the referrals for the current month, you are also cutting off any users that registered prior to that date as well. Therefore the contest can only be for people that have joined and have had referrals within the same contest month if I am wanting the results to show up on the monthly referral contest. So.... I am aware Michelle that you are not actively supporting this mod at the moment, so I am asking anyone else if they know how to change the mod to be able to show referral results dictated by the cutoff date but for all users regardless of their register date. I hope that makes sense. Thank You, Nuguru :) |
not working on 3.2 for me

Hope this helps. |
Doesn't work with 3.6.3, whenever I bring up the /referrers.php page, I get the following error
Code:
Warning: Division by zero in /includes/functions.php on line 2051 |
#1 I'm on 3.6, but this seems to work anyway.
So. Will this hack, or another, allow users to refer a new user to a thread, and then get credit when they register? Like this: Rather than sending someone to the register page with the link http://forums.yoursite.com/register....ferrerid=16258 they send to a thread with the referal link: http://forums.yoursite.com/showthrea...ferrerid=16258 If not, is there a hack out there that will do this? |
Is there any plans on making this entire hack work for 3.6.4? At the default state it works fine, however if you try to enter a cut off date then the script produces errors!
|
Everything is fine accept cut off date..
Sounds pretty good :) |

which makes it almost impossible to do anythign custom with it. |

The cut off date is buggy.
Im doing a referral contest each month so i set the date to 01-12-2006 and then it only shows members that has registered since that date.. Like Member1 registered 29th of november, and overall he has 13 referrals, Member2 registered 4th of december, and overall he has 2 refferals. But when i set the date to 01-12-2006 (the 1st of december) it shows Member2 as the winner because Member1 signed up before the cut off date.. do you think you can fix this ? And im using vB 3.6.3 :) |
does this work for 3.6.x ??
