It's normal that you get these errors when you go to that file as this file is not supposed to be used by itself but only via smmaker.php which is the file you should go to.
However for some reason, /forum/ is not appearing in the URLs there, and that is causing the problem... Have you changed anything in the template?

When I go to e-steki_smilie_creator.php I get a 404 error (not found). I can't think o anything else other that you haven't uploaded it to the correct location... :ermm:

When I go to your homepage I get a Not found error so I can't look into the problem :( Perhaps you have a misspelling on the homepage URL of your profile?

postbit templates?? There is nothing about postbit templates here... :confused:
Take a look at your "Site name, URL etc" vbulletin settings... Are they correct? Cause it takes the forum url from these... If you can't find what's wrong replace in e-steki_smilie_creator template (if that's it's exact name, I don't remember exactly but if you search your template titles for "smilie" you'll find it ;) Replace all instances of $vboptions[bburl] with your forum url...
Btw people when you see red X's then right click them -> properties -> copy the image url -> paste it in address bar and see what you get. It will probably help you solve your problem youself instead of waiting for support ;)

Oh so you could only make them through that URL, No other places? Maybe you should think about making it so you can make your own smiles in the user CP and save them. That would make life easier, Gread Hack by the way :D

Also I had my forum set wrong it all works now.

Glad I helped, I am surprised that a wrong setting there didn't cause more trouble than this. It's nice what you suggested but I'm still scared to make my hacks write to the database :p When I overcome this, I'll probably work on it (and when I have more time :()

Is it possible to change the background for the eyes, lips and faces cause having a dark skin sure is troublesome.

I just took these images from the original smilies of that set. But you can always change them, just make sure the size stays the same cause otherwise it will need file modifications of the hack. I think an alternative for dark skins was posted earlier in the thread ;)

All i found were some new images of the faces.

Hi I have this installed on my forum but it is not working correctly for me... Everything is displaying except the created smilie when you click create, it just shows the "Your smilie is being made - Please wait" text all the time. Im also getting a 500 error when i try to goto forum/modules/e-steki_smilie_creator.php but the file is in there. I tried re-installing and it still wont seem to show the created smilie. I have also checked my server and I have GD 2.0.28 enabled. Please help :confused:

You need to contact your host about this I think...

VERY nice hack. I just have one question: When a user makes a smilie, only s/he can use it, right? Or does it show up for everybody?

It shows to everybody in the posts, if used :)
What would be the point if only he/she could see it?

Would it be possible to get graphics that would work with dark backgrounds for these? I tried modifying the faces myself with Photoshop... but for some reason, the light color still shows on the edges and looks really ugly.

My users don't use it a lot, they are too "serious", lol :p To imagine it, today we were trying to find a formula for the oil that french fries absorb depending on frying time, shape of the potato, Volume of the potato etc LOL. We are a weird forum, indeed :p :p

Btw some advice, take it or ignore it: There are too many hacks in your forum. That's not good. Just install the ones you really find interesting or needed. Right now, you have a 3-row navbar, a really crowded postbit and generally a very "overstuffed with hacks" forum, which confuses newbies and makes the forum look "unprofessional". Take a look at really big forums, they may have many hacks, but they are really needed hacks for the purpose of the forum. :/

nice idea i tried to install it, but it wont make the faces..the page loads with the icons but at the bottom the complete made icon is missing, and when i post the icon code in a post it no icon appears

The code is the same for the same smilie. If someone quotes you he can see the code and use it.

No it does not use lots of disc space.
The bandwidth usage is the same as every normal smilie.
The only concern is the CPU usage, but a forum admin I know with a dedicated server told me it didn't increase the percent at all. :)
Of course this depends on how much the hack is used by the members ;)
