I think you'll find most the hacks are in zip format, it's way more universal than tarballs - though I think winzip now supports tar files.

I installed the hack and it is an EXCELLENT work. I had to install an unzip util as I rarely dealt with zip. I am in the tarball world. hehehe Tarball is growing though as Linux grows.

well i finally caved and installed this on my forums,
with a few template modifications to suit myself, of course!

works very well and i'm very pleased, as are my members.
