That means your chosen opcache operator isn't working correctly as it's unable to store data - you should contact your host :)

i am using memcache and one more thing
Save Avatars as Files and Save Attachments as Files also not working while there is a Tick option in the vB Optimise: Optimal Settings Check

For these i have created a folder on my root like this
attachment/attachments
attachment/avatars
attachment/profilepics
attachment/signaturepics

but after doing this my previous avatar and profile pics also not working nor i am able to upload a new one :(

You've posted the same question in all 3 vB Optimise threads, we cannot help you when we don't know what version you're running.

That's a vBulletin feature, not a part of vB Optimise.

You need to contact your host, as per the error message your opcode cacher is not working.

I have 2.0.1 (Lite) installed and I'm wondering if I should update to 2.5. I don't use DB's thanks or tag hacks and I don't really care if the stats are displayed or not :D

I'm also wondering if using Xcache would be more efficient than Filecache on a VPS. My previous host wouldn't allow Xcache to be installed so I had to use Filecache, but now I'm on a vps and can install Xcache if I want :)

You should install xcache. You'll definitely see a big improvement over filecache

DragonByte Tech 10-11-2012 02:09 PM

XCache can cache more than just the vBulletin stuff, so it's definitely a boon to have that compared to Filecache, since XCache works with your RAM rather than your disk I/O :)

I have xCache installed just to accelerate PHP. For the forum itself I memcache. They seem to work together brilliantly.
