Bingo. Found the mod that conflicts with this - Add Ignore User To Postbit Dropdown.

When that one is enabled it blocks the awards from appearing in all locations of the postbit.

Can you make an auto award function so it's award member who has joined for certain date or reached certain post count?

That would require coding a cron script. That currently isn't on my list to complete right now.

You could code on yourself that would do that. Eventually, it will most likely make its way into future versions. However, currently I'm more focused on bug fixes in our beta release.
