Please fix the W3C XHTML validation issues. Use & instead of & when necessary, use onclick instead of onClick (no uppercase attributes), add some missing alt attributes, ...

All W3C validation issues fixed, except using the <style type="text/css">...</style> in the BODY!
because of new sidebar location, the code has a conditional css and if I want to move them in the new .css file and put them in the HEAD, then it needs extra check. so I ignored it for now.

by the way the error in pop-up pages that say "end tag for element "style" which is not open" is not mine, and should report as a bug in vB.com. (in "im_message" template)

The <style> error isn't easy to fix indeed. I'm having the same thing with DownloadsII. There's a profile CSS template hook, but it isn't working. I also reported the </style> error in the im_message template.
