Flashchat v6 is simply way to buggy, incomplete and badly coded.

Hello,

My users except me as the admin are coming up saying they are banned and we need this chatroom only for registered users.

Thus I cannot find in my Admin CP where the permissions option is under usergroups?

Actually, it's buggy still, but they are working hard at it, quite complete and well coded. And it's free.

I know far more expansive chats that are not nearly as good.

At any rate, nice mod.

Can I use this as a chat widget in the CMS of VB4? If so, can someone point me in the direction of the instructions.

Well since it cannot find a basic Flashchat file, either you havent, or you have installed it in the wrong place (see red note).

I'm having scroll bar issues with the chat box.. when I'm going to:

/misc.php?do=flashchat&room=1

It shows and log ins the chat box just fine without any problems. No scroll bar.. but when I move my mouse within the chatbox, it shows a scroll bar to both sides, causes flickering issues.

I've attached screenshots for example.. First one being normal, second with my mouse going within the chat box. Using FireFox 3.5.7. Internet Explorer seems to work fine.

Mind sharing how? I don't see any tutorial for that.

Secondly, can this FlashChat keep logs? I don't see any log options. I know you are not the author of FlashChat, but maybe you know a way to enable chat logs for the public.

I cannot answer your question on scrollbars - thats Flashchat or flash in general. As for logs, there are no public logs in Flashchat.
