Because I believe unless you're lucky to be in the timezone the app was wrote for then the timings are all out...

I made a 7 day countdown timer and it added 8 hrs to the time it should have finished.

Thank goodness that I haven't had any issues with my folks complaining from different areas of the world.

Does anyone know of any other options for a countdown like this where the timezones do not affect it?

Did all was supposed to do, rebuilt and all...go into UserCP, set it and it doesn't keep on. Go back to look and it is blank again...

Anyone get it working? if a user fills in the fields it does not seem to save it to the database and when they update it again it is blank!

Any ideas as to a fix for this?

i installed and all, chose a event to count down to, but it does not display it in my sig.

I had the same problem until I put a period in the signature field. The countdown needs something to 'prompt' it to working. So, a simple period (in the same color as your background to mask it, of course ;) ) would let it work.
