How about www.crazyshit.com videos

I would need some kind of embed code to reference to get it to work. From what saw, I didn't see any kind of embed ability. Just thumbnail and forum links.

First thing you need to do extract the contents of the ZIP folder for AME 1.2. Then all you need to do is upload the contents of your upload folder to whatever folder you keep your forums in. (Take a look at the contents of that folder. See how it has a folder called admincp, includes and images? That's the same structure your website has. So if your site uses a forum folder to hold your forum, upload that over your forum folder. If it doesn't, just upload the contents of the forum folder over everything else. As long as your maining that folder tree structure, your putting them in the right place). Then just import the XML file though your Admin CP >>> Plugins & Products >>> Manage Products >>> [Add/Import Product] >>> EITHER upload the XML file from your computer.

My Media Definitions are only added after you've installed AME successfully. They're imported through the AME CP, which you won't have until you install AME. You'll want to delete the default definitions one by one that come with AME, as most of them are outdated. Then all you'd do is Import the Master XML file, and that will add every definition the community has made to date. The ZIP file is for people who don't want every definition, or who already have most of the definitions and just want to add a site they don't already have.

Does anyone have the "locally hosted" videos/mp3s working? I have the expressions from the file 'Local Hosted Video.zip' installed, and replaced the reference to the board URL as instructed. A test post with a few attached multi-media files is showing as it always has, the files just show up as attached and there's no embedded player.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

UDPATES!

I had not looked at the Amazon links as closely as I had done for the video/audio definitions. So I rebuilt both the Thumbnail and Links definitions for Amazon to include support for almost all of Amazon's foreign language sites, with the exception of China

Im now using this for Amazon UK

Thank you, I really appreciate it!

Testebr, these two site are still giving me fits. I'm in the middle of migrating servers at the moment, so when all that has settled down I'll come back to these two first thing. The problem I'm having with the two of them, is that the embed code is not being backrefrenced, and I have no idea why. There's nothing unusual about their embed code that should be making it difficult.

I don't use the local hosted myself. But so far, no one had reported a problem with them, so I simply included them in a separate ZIP. Let me see an example URL that isn't converting for you. It might be something as simple as a file tree difference.

No problem. I hope they come in handy.

Thanks for the reply Jedi!
Possibly I misunderstand the use or meaning of "locally hosted". What I envisioned was that user would be able to upload/attach video content and AME would present that in the post with an embedded player. I've made a little test post at my forum with an .wmv and .mp3 attachment, see http://www.greenpowertalk.org/showthread.php?t=5039, both attachments are showing as regular attachments, no embedded player(s). Besides the local stuff, AME works like a charm.

Ah, I see. I don't think the definitions where meant to convert attachments. The reason being is that there's no real way to distinguish a document attachment from a media attachment using a RegEx. What it's supposed to do is convert the actual URL of your locally hosted media. For example, if you were to upload the quote-beth.wmv to a folder on your site, you would post the actual location of quote-beth.wmv. For example, http://www.greenpower.org/media/quote-beth.wmv would be converted into a media player.
