like on most forums where people are volunteered... nothing but self satisfaction of helping others...

if you go and be moderator in a forum in the goal of gaining something, you're at the wrong stage of the volunteering

Powers to do stuff like lock topics, delete others posts and edit the posts of others... and to first hand stop flame wars and spam topics maybe? Either way, I guess being a mod here is probably like being a mod on any other forum; voluntary and for the satisfaction of helping others.

The point of volunteering isn't for personal gain or benefit; it's to help out.
