Very handy mod. But is this will com on postbit_legacy?
|
Yes, this works in both postbit and postbit_legacy
|
Hello,
Screenshot's version is [2.5.0] or [2.5.0a] ? |
Either one, they're both the same just the window opens differently.
|
Hi,
Thanks. Installed. |
Little question. I just saw you have something like this for the postbit_legacy.
Now i'm using the postbit_legacy, but I already installed this hack for postbit a little while ago. Seems to work fine. What's the difference? |
Postbit, is the horizontal postbit, Postbit Legacy, is the vertical postbit. It all depends on which postbit you use for your site.
|
Yes I knew that, but I use this hack for the vertical postbit.
Now I've seen the other hack for the postbit_legacy. So my question is what the difference is between this hack and the postbit_legacy hack, because this hack (postbit) seems to work fine for postbit_legacy too. |
Are you talking about the first one developed by "UltimateOreo!"?
If so, if you look at his, his is displayed directly in the postbit, where it takes up a bit more room and I believe his was only template edits when he first released it. Mine, is displayed in the user's dropdown menu's in the postbit (see screenshot) so its more of a.....for lack of a better word, cleaner version. I've also made the option to have the menu's in the user profile area. |
I was indeed referring to the one developped by "UltimateOreo" because that is the one mentioned here under "similar mods".
Because yours only says postbit and his only says postbit-legacy I thought there might be a difference otherwise you would have called it "in postbit and postbit legacy". Just the seperation of these 2 names brought me to doubt. However I see now, that in fact there is no difference except you have a more clean version, which is correct because when I looked at his version a lot more code was used, which again strengthent (hope i write this in correct English) my believe that there was a difference. So there isn't and I installed yours in my postbit legacy, working great.:) Thanks for the explanation! |
