Maybe it'll be nice to have that displayed in a more noticeable way. Lots of people seem to be having trouble finding it. :)

i agree... why not add in a Quick Style Chooser near the bottom of the forums? i perfer the fluid styles myself.

Things are not always the same, but people adapt. I don't think the breadcrumbs is likely to be changed.

No problem. I'm just giving you my $0.02, and I'm glad you even noticed it, and I'll have no problem adaptating, just need to reorganize some stuff up there in my head, and it's really quite messy.

Having managed a site of equal size as vB.org, I know that times like these (right after a major rehaul) are never really pleasant, but just hang in there. Filter out all of those nonsense posts about how everything is going wrong here, and try to take notice of constructive feedback, and of course positive ;) In a few weeks, all is back to normal and people will love you all again.

The new Skin is approximately 1 BILLION times better!
YAY FOR A MORE COMFORTABLE FIXED SKIN!
WOW!
Bravo!
  • How long has this been in the works?
  • Is it going to be available for the general public?
  • Who did it?
  • I'm not sure if it were there before or if I'm just noticing it because of the new skin, but what articles mod is it?
  • What other mods are installed with this new skin?

The worst thing about the new style is that it is way too narrow, giving it a unprofessional feel. If it was set to 90-95% it would be more acceptable.

(This is not JUST an opinion) ^^^^WRONG!^^^^

I STRONGLY agree.

This new layout makes me want to post more.
VBulletin.org is now my HOMEPAGE! :p

I voted for the new style.

It's streamlined, allows much easier navigation and all round quite nice. Good work on that.

Because it technically is only 1 style. The "Style" option in the UserCP, is more somehting like a color-scheme picker. It is all in a single style that gets dynamically adjusted to the users settings.

The whole process have taken many months of discussing, prototyping and styling/coding.

No it will not be made available to general public as we like to have our own unique look, and it contains many vBulletin.org specific features.

The styling is mostly done by Princeton, the coding mostly by Paul.

There is not a real articles mod.

Many, many, many most coded specific for our (members) needs.

The new style is a lot better than the old one IMO :)
