This plugin is really awesome, we've been using it for a year and everything worked like a charm.

I have a doubt about its future development, is planned some kind of dinstinction in the shout box between normal users and moderators? I mean something like a different color for moderator's nick.

for some reason when I put in symbols like "" and <> it gives me weird words instead

There are mods around vb.org that state they can show on every page (wouldn't recommend it)

Mine works fine also, I installed 3.6.10 today with no problem at all.

This doesnt work on vB 3.7 RC4 (could need sec token?)

-problem: wont respond when shouts are posted, nor does the /prune

and that means it also MIGHT NOT work on 3.6.10

you could just add this to top of vbshout.php

define('CSRF_SKIP_LIST', 'action_one,action_two'); underneath line : define('THIS_SCRIPT', 'vbshout');

But this will need updating as it stops the vbshout using the security token protection

You can fix like this :

The following should be added to all of the forms which POST back to vBulletin or a vBulletin script. This will automatically be filled out with a 40 character hash that is unique to the user.




I have now disabled it and installed cybchatbox as that is fully working with 3.70 gold

I updated from 3.6 to 3.7, and have no issues with VB shout... I've modified the layout, and remove the timestamps, but other than the those small tweaks vbshout has been working perfectly! ty :)

Upgraded to 3.7 and all is well with the actual box but our total shouts in postbits have disappeared. Any ideas?

for some reason when I ban a useer fro mthe shoutbox they get this error. But it doesnt do that in the Banned USergroup thing, jus tthe users section.

Im running on the 3.7.0 gold version, im getting all kinds of odd charachtes displayed when using the & or the < or > keys is there a fix i missed for this.


EDIT: Its ok found it still not displaying images tho using [img] so more reading unless someone point me right way.
